Ya. Not the entire bit, but some part of it could be a dream. And we may never know from where considering the Oscar level editing.

Sai Joshi has a different ring, and endearment of sorts and the identity of the person he fell in love. I wish he does acknowledge her gesture but also asks her to retain her maiden name.

I increasingly believe that he loves the Sai Joshi version more than the Sai Chavan version.

Her calling herself Chavan gives him an ego boost and haq no doubt but he loves the Joshi version.

For me the naughty badmaash Sai is Sai Joshi who he absolutely adores. Even during the proposal by him, he did it in a way that would appeal that Sai.

Jhooth bolke, finger point karke, slight bend karke... All sort of childish to look at from afar but very Sairatilicious in essence. That's peak SaiRat for me.

He has a very patronizing (in a good way) approach to her. Might be because of the age difference or because that's how they started. Him being the protector of the innocent child. But they maintained it in proposal and that warmed my heart like anything. 🤗

NB does exceptionally good in eye contacts. 👍🏼

Mentioned this to Nethraa also.. that ShiviRaj had heart eyes during antarpat. SaiRat had a proper conversation ☺️☺️

I also told Nethraa that he admires and patronizes her! He thinks she is unique and different from other women, even superior 😆

Note: Adding it here on this post as we are still in the prelude. I have 2 views to share here. One what is registered to first glance and two there is much more than what meets the eye.

One look at the episode and the first thought.... Horrible! That is the impression if you watch it stand alone without any baggage or understanding of the characters and their past.

A regressive matriarch abusing the DIL and forcing her to sacrifice her dreams and her career and restrict herself to household duties and a husband agreeing to such demands. BK looked like one Hitler who was adamant on conquering her kingdom and establishing her rein. Virat was mute most of the time, with meek arguments and eventually giving in to BK's demand. Sai stood helpless, struggling to choose between the 2 most important aspects of her life, Love & Career. Two most Important people, Her husband & her father. And it seemed she even lost the right to choose. The entire family stood while a girl was brought to her knees by one lady. None had the guts to stop her. They were mere one liner pleads with no one coming down strong.

What I liked most about yesterday was the precap - And we spoke so much about the pride with which Sai walks out her head held high making the difficult choice between her identity, her dream and her love. I assumed it to be dream in hindsight, and it was proven right...Just that it wasn't P's but V's dream. V after that dream of possible course of events, takes over and decides for Sai, that she will become the DIL of Chavans. And Sai obliges. A kick in the shin of the moron is what we would want. breaking the girl who was willing to add his name to his identity. A dejected and lifeless Sai. The only icing up for take - P losing at her final master stroke to stop Sairat wedding/reunion. This will probably be the only aspect that remains constant in my both versions. Because she is someone who is consistent and obvious in her intentions.

Now, this was a much finer episode than we could give credit. There is so much depth in underplay than the words used. Things we things failed or ceased to exist were actually predominant throughout. Like Moor had said, this is not ending in one episode, so the build up continued today.

It is indeed. The many layers are starting to peel off, and we will slowly see more if it and the coming episodes will reveal the true versions. I will take up characters wrt to the layers withering

1. Virat - As predicted by most of us, this is V's stage now. The trial of his love, his respect for her not just as his wife but as an individual, his own perspective against the rules of his family, his claims and promises, it is all that and more. But it is V now in the forefront. He will need to lead this battle.

Going back to the scene right after V's dream, it seemed like he is ready to sacrifice Sai's career for having Sai's as his wife. And he took that decision because he knew she will choose her career. But, the fact is, V knows Sai cant mince her words and she doesnt lie, and her decision will be crystal clear. Which would mean BK will not have her stay and Sai will walk out. And hence he chose to speak for her, because he (unlike what he claims) can mince his words like noodles. He already has his plan in place, but he knew it wasn’t the time to put this into action. The wedding was the priority, and he needs a more appropriate place and time to put his plan to action. He wanted the wedding ceremonies to culminate without any hindrance. He is his usual amicable, no conflict kind of guy, but he will find a way to make this work out. He is scheming and he will stand by Sai. Make this work out for her. BK has her biggest traitor in him🤣. This is V at redeeming himself for everything he had done. Again my broken record - 8th vachan he has sworn to himself, or will be the wedding night gift.

2. Sai - We spoke about eye romance. Today it was about eye conversation. There was a lot spoken between these two. Again first look, how is Sai looking so vulnerable and docile, giving into V and BK's demands. And then you know its her emotion running high on her love and trust in her man. If anything that SH track gave these two, it was trust. She trusts him much more than she ever did. He asked if she trusted and loved him, and she didn't hesitate to respond in positive. And then he just asked her to trust and she did without a second thought. She takes that leap of faith with the complete trust she has in him. She trusts him with her life, her happiness. Her anxiety is not if he will support, because she knows he will, but it is around how he will support her.

3. Bhavani - I had written this before. BK may have regressive mindset, but having Sai as a career woman is not really that much of a problem. And she somewhere does acknowledge Sai for her goodness. It is a clash between generations, between contradicting ideologies. BK doesn’t wish bad for Sai, but she doesn’t agree to Sai's behaviour. She believes that her career is what will give Sai the freedom to speak and do what she wishes and that is something BK dislikes in Sai. I detest BK for her thinking and actions, but if we simply look at what she intended, she was only seeking well for her family. And for her the well being means curbing her freedom, taking away her individuality, which is where she is wrong. Forcing her thinking and decision, manipulating other to have her way. Ironically she is herself being manipulated by the one she believes to be ideal, and being the very hindrance to the happiness and harmony that she wants to maintain for her family. Going back to V's dream, BK is smiling, because that is what he thinks about BK. That she doesn’t like Sai and wants her out. And that is where we have a layer off BK today. She still has concern for Sai.

V and Sai were so good today. Such contrasting meanings in single expressions with such subtlety. I saw the selfish and mean Virat, and I saw the considerate, loving and understanding V. I saw the meek, broken, helpless Sai and then i saw the nervous, yet trusting and loving wife in Sai. This is the V we missed. he is slowly emerging from the cocoon. He sensed her restlessness, he knew what this means to her, and he was trying to calm her senses with his body language. The whole Sairat scenes together was so good, so couple like, so married like. Holding on to each other, giving and taking at the same time. Beautiful and enacted so well! It just had my heart. You dont have to say things there is so much that you express with eyes, body language. It was so much more deeper. The progression we were looking for between these two as a couple is there to see. and such a beautiful one. Understanding and standing by each other and their decisions..just like a couple.

My pain points - The family. They all knew what her career means to Sai, yet they were just happy the wedding happened rest forgotten. I don't think either of them see V's true intentions. I can give that consideration to Ashwini, she knows her son and he will find a way. The only person really concerned seemed to be Shivani.

BK states that she has proved her point and she treats Sai as family. But P didnt respond, when she was the one to instigate. Yet, BK fails to see it. How blind can she be and so contrasting in her views? Sonali though taken aback by BK's statement, she smiled at her ignorance and P's failure.

Good Episode, waiting for these layers to peel and how....and how beautifully they bring it out.
