Some of these movies like The Great Indian Kitchen, Ratsasan, Aruvi are brilliant movies that just cannot be remade again. THIK worked beautifully because of it's simplicity and the brilliance of Malayalam film industry. They're gonna ruin it.

I know either they make remakes or biopics cuz of laziness but kya kare they r aadat se majboor cuz why to write there own story jab easily they r getting a readymade script to perform only to jeopardized the original hardworking team who puts an effort to bring there story to audience. I wish all these regional movies should come up with pan india releasing system then any one can dare to remake them cuz it is majorly seen by us. Bechare bullywood is having some minutes breathes n I wish all other regional cinemas would reach that right that this bullywood will go in dump. N it has been started with bahubhali.

What is the point of remaking? Thanks to streaming and subs, most people have seen these films.Unless you have a very fresh spin, remakes are pointless.
