the most problematic itv show of all time. (rant)

i have never been so disgusted by a show in my entire life. i really dont think i can watch this 💩 anymore.

this is a screenshot from episode 556 - April 20 where the Shah's go to AK's house to do a ritual.

what are we even watching at this point ?

i've been dragging myself to watch this show for the past 2 months and now i get why.

all of the propaganda and subliminal messaging is getting harder and harder to ignore.

the drama is not entertaining anymore.

it's infuriating. it's insulting. it's regressive. it's backwards. they humiliate her, berate her, treat her like something they purchased that is defective but is too late to return.

this isnt about being unable to appreciate a different perspective or way of life.

this is about women ages 12-80, sitting in front of the tv every night watching a victim return to her abusive husband over and over and over again and being fed the message that because no one is putting their hands on her, it's okay.

to alllllllllllllllll of the users who support this character - who have gone on and on justifying her being up the shahs nose-holes every day. how she is a mother first, how she needs to be there for kinjal during her pregnancy, who REFUSE to acknowledge that this woman is not a survivor as yet but is still a victim...

PLEASE EXPLAIN OR JUSTIFY THIS TO ME :

What they been doing and what Anupamaa turned out now is just disgusting and disappointing.

This show was appreciated because it touched a social cause at home "in the beginning " - ie cheating Vanraj.

Now they are simply making mockery out of Intellectual viewers and the actual victims of household emotion/physical abuse survivors.

People justify saying these is all fiction - this is ITV. Makers are abusing their right to show utter nonsense because people are supporting this sh**.

Sorry for the rant 😅.

Something I had shared on other thread as well.

I'm not sure from where are the makers getting idea that TRP audience might not like mid age couples romancing. ( Don't think any one is asking for something more than hug & forehead kiss) . There has been show with mid age couple romancing and it garnered a good TRP.

The makers also need to know if they say people relate to Anupama , they need to understand that people won't like to see this amount of negativity in their life. People like to see happy moments/ happy endings , good winning over evil in show and movie is because in real life not all thing end happily.

Reason for highest TRP @4.5 was the positive environment they showed around Anu with Anuj. Drama and Kaand once in a while is ok but people don't want dose of same negativity daily. If they are serious about TRP & show they need to go back to showing some positivity & negative or grey as they like to call getting there Karma back.

If not audience might gradually stop watching the show.

This is Bcoz of her mahanta syndrome and she wants to always prove that she is the best and only she can manage shahs.

we people cannot understand this bcz our understanding level doesn't match hers.

Only Americans can understand her level, her talent.

I have not much idea about preqel.

I feel she was going to America for teaching dance without any formal training or degree.

See even wise people n indian institutions can not understand her talent.

No sooner had she moved out of this house, they made her move into Anuj's house where she cooked and cleaned for him and his family and now she's back to this house, cooking and cleaning and serving chai to her abusers. While she waits to get married, just to please her ex father in law, so he can settle some score with his son and wife. It's completely nuts and I've been judging myself for watching this madness.

It's the most regressive shit that's being peddled as progressive.

I'm even irritated Rupali and Gaurav who constantly keep saying it's a show for the whole family, that we get to learn so much from it and other such stuff.

You should change title . It should be most disgusting show of all time. Most disgusting characters of all time .

all of the little things make me explode atp. something as simple as her serving them tea made my blood boil today.

in the same episode, she is telling babuji to remember to take his meds, pakhi not to eat oily food etc. she refuses to have an identity outside of being a mother.

another scene that i didnt like was when her and anuj fell asleep in the office, and on waking up he asks her to bring tea and breakfast...um what? i dont like seeing women being in servitude. like you BOTH just woke up, no one has brushed their teeth as yet and you're doing exactly what vanraj and baa do???

Disgust is exactly what I feel...there is just no justification to what is shown in this show...and I have been questioning myself as to why I am still watching this crap...
