but what fell flat was the whole kiss chemistry (wohi jo you mentioned after kal ka promo) and the unneeded comedy angle. normal romance ho sakta tha and it would've come out beautifully! they could've opted for cheesy too but why comedy?

Ekta❤️ yaar cringe ka level toh kam zyada hota hi rahega but it will always be there...they can't do kuch bhi normal tarah se...yes I agree cheesy would still be fine but comedy se intensity dilute ho gayi kiss ki

How easily she moved from "I want to grow old with you" to "I maan you" and everyone accommodated along with bholuram.

This 'I MaAn you' is growing on me like the saxophone music and O Anupama song did...infact it was quite sweet when they said it today, I enjoyed a MaAn scene after very long cause it made sense about communication and loved how Anuj made her feel.
