Yeah probably. Although religion can have some positive elements too. Thing is humans are inherently tribalistic and hierarchical. We want to be part of a powerful group and we want to be on top of that group so that no one can kick us out. A human being out. on his/her own cannot survive. So the likelihood is we’d probably always have something else to fight about. But I think there are certain aspects of religion that make us all fight more than necessary and are not easily resolvable because they can’t be proven/disproven.
People will always find something to believe in. In communism, inclusive capitalism, aliens, and science's omniscience, even in the weather forecast. And they will always find reasons for enmity with those who disagree with their faith.

And they will always find reasons for enmity with those who disagree with their faith. Religion is good because it calls for good. People will come up with everything that can be thought of. And to think that religion is only an instrument of control is like thinking that books, music, movies are only an instrument of control.
no religion preaches hate its we humans who use religion as weapon
I blame late stage capitalism more than religion tbh
