Consider any other film industry.. if an actor migrates to Hollywood, citizens from that country post only positive comments. Only in India will they channel all possible negativity.

I was reading comments on a YouTube video where an actress from a small country got to work in Hollywood... people from that country were not only praising the actress in comments, but also making it a point to promote other actors who have the potential to work in Hollywood.

Negativity ka jhanda leke khilli nahi uda rahe the to one who got to work abroad.

It is same everywhere. Just read some of the comments from Columbian people in internet for Sofia Vergara. Some love her, some hate her for her over exaggerated accent in Modern Family, that she is sl99ty and is misrepresenting her country and so on. Similar things you read about Margot Robbie from Australians.

So yeah it isn't exclusive to India.

I suppose it also depends on the celebrity and how they want to present themselves abroad.. Sofia was comfortable to be mocked on Ellen show as long it was getting her the fame which might have irked citizens of her country.. I am unaware of Margot Robbie and thus cannot comment on her.

PC hasn't done anything to that extent that warrants her getting dragged day and night.

Just like you feel Sofia let Ellen mock her for fame, same way some may feel that Priyanka with her fake accent, acting like a teenager and than having different political ideologies according to the country she is in, is ruining the credibility of the country.

See you can't justify hatred for Sofia and at the same time want people to not hate on Priyanka for how they feel about her.

Don't want to drag the discussion but I feel there is a difference between the hatred Sofia and Priyanka receives. Not sure if I'll be able to explain.. but jaane de. I myself didn't appreciate her political ideologies to kisi aur Ko kya bolu 😆

I don’t hate her. But I’m annoyed by her to the hilt. There’s a difference. Plus she tends to overact in Hollywood movies. Saw that musical with Rebel Wilson. Never again.

If the posts you make for PC are out of annoyance. I'm curious what posts celebrities you truly hate must be receiving 😆

Her role in that musical with Rebel Wilson or even in Baywatch were meant to be that cliche overacting.. these roles were meant to give her exposure in Hollywood. Not sure if she makes it in Hollywood or not but atleast she tried.

She is one of the limited complete package we have in Bollywood and can deliver good roles if offered in Hollywood.
