He didn't raise his voice against baa and vanraj when they harrassed Anu.. yes he support Anu but never spoke against his son. It was only in later stages he started voicing.. correct me if i am wrong. I never watched the show before anuj.. but i remember bapu saying himslef, that he never voiced his support in front of baa n trash

Ya whatever you wrote is true...but my doubt is that heart attack se kaunsa karma milega unhe. Ulta Anu aur bhi zyada emotionally attached hogi inse aur woh joh kahengi Anu aur Anuj karenge

Plus this could be a way of redeeming her character and getting her to attend the wedding.

Also, here they could bring in the mother who will be pro wedding and that will make more “sense”. These are logical ways of dragging the drama for 2 weeks but we know the makers. Aur SH ka drama ghusaaane ke kaafi kaabil hai like: Babuji being on bed rest toh shaadi becoming more simple from SH for eg. Aar ya paar wala scene hai.
