|| Naagin 6 Written Update 17th April 2022 ||

The episode starts with a gang of robbers showing up at the same jewellery store where Pratha and Rishab are shopping for her birthday. The armed robbers threaten to shoot anyone who tries to act smart. Rishab warns them not to shoot anyone and a fight breaks out between the robbers and Rishab. Seeing this, Pratha tries to transform into her Naagin avatar but fails. She’s confused as to why her powers aren’t working anymore. A robber aims his pistol at Rishab and shoots, but right then Pratha comes in between and gets shot, thereby managing to save Rishab. Police arrive at the jewellery store and Rishab runs to Pratha’s aid. He questions her why she would save his life like this if she claimed to marry him just for money. They share an eye-lock and Rishab lifts her up in his arms and leaves the store. He takes her back home and Mahek calls the Doctor. The Doctor dresses her wound and tells them not to worry since the bullet barely grazed her arm.

After Rishab leaves, Mahek questions Pratha what happened to her powers. She tells Mahek she doesn’t know what happened but she couldn’t transform to her Naagin avatar and when she saw those robbers trying to shoot Rishab, she had to do something to save him. Mahek shouts at her and reminds her that she’s the Shesh Naagin. Mahek reminds her that they’ve sacrificed so much, that they can’t meet their own father even when he’s just downstairs, that she has been chosen to save this country and this world. Mahek shouts that Pratha has been chosen over Mahek. Did she leave her powers voluntarily because she has fallen in love now? There’s not an ounce of regret on Pratha’s face. Pratha says that she remembers her mission, she remembers she has to save the country. Mahek asks her if she loves Rishab. Pratha says that she’s here just to save the country and Rishab deserves to find happiness, deserves a girl who can give him love. Pratha doesn’t deserve someone like Rishab. Mahek says that a Shesh Naagin can only lose her powers if her Naagmani is tampered with. Mahek remembers that Pratha’s powers worked till the pooja they did at their Palace. Pratha says that there were just three people at that pooja - Pratha, Mahek and their father. That day she took out the Naagmani from her navel, performed the pooja and then she put it back inside her navel. Since then her powers haven’t worked.

Downstairs, Rishab is telling everyone excitedly about the robbery, how he fought the robbers and how Pratha saved him from getting shot. He is amazed at Pratha’s bravery and how she jumped in between as if she has some superpowers that she wouldn’t get hurt by bullets. Rishab playfully tells her not to do something dangerous like this again and feeds her kachori. Seema appreciates Pratha and says that it was Pratha’s love that ended up saving Rishab in the end.

Rishab receives a call and leaves. Pratha goes after him and notices a bare electric cable lying on wet floor. She sees that Rishab is about to get electrocuted and tries to transform into her Naagin avatar again but fails. So she runs toward Rishab and pulls him back to save him. They both fall, with Pratha on top of Rishab and they have a moment. Rishab thanks her and leaves. Pratha suspects that the short-circuit must have been pre-planned and someone is trying to harm Rishab.

Pratha’s father receives a text from Rehan’s phone which says, ‘you saved Pratha yesterday and now Rishab saved Pratha. But no one can save her from me and I will definitely kill her tonight.’ Pratha’s father gets angry at the text and asks Rehan to meet him upstairs. In his room upstairs, Pratha’s father grabs Rehan by the throat and warns him to stay away from Pratha and not harm her at all. Rehan asks him why he would care so much about Rehan’s sister-in-law and who is she to him, a traitor. Pratha’s father refuses to answer him and asks Rehan about the text he sent. Rehan is confused as he didn’t send any text and leaves the room. Pratha’s father wonders who sent him the text if it wasn’t Rehan.

Pratha enters the room and tells him that it was her. She asked Mahek to use Rehan’s phone to text the 5th Asur. Pratha is devastated to know that her own father has been the Mastermind all along, that it was him who stole her Naagmani after all. She asks him why he would do such a thing, she asks him where is her Naagmani. She starts searching his room and her father tries to stop her. He asks her to calm down and give him the chance to explain but she doesn’t listen. Pratha opens a drawer where he has hidden the Naagmani but before she could take hold of it, her father suddenly grabs it. She asks him to return it but her father uses the Naagmani to hurt her wounded arm. Pratha faints and her father flees from Gujral Mansion.

Pratha’s father reaches the Himalayas and says that he’s sorry but he had to do this. The pain wouldn’t affect her much and it was only to give him enough time to reach here. He speaks into the Naagmani and calls on Pratha. Pratha suddenly wakes up and senses that she’s being called by her father. He admits to being the 5th Asur and asks her reach the Himalayas. Pratha says that if in order to save innocent lives she has to fight her own people, then she wouldn’t hesitate to fulfill her duty. Because that’s what her ‘dharma’ is. Both Pratha and Mahek leave to find their father.

Pratha’s father meets a foreigner from Chingistan on the Himalayan hill in front of Ram Temple for the deal. Initially there plan was to poison only the Yamuna River, but now they will poison the Himalayan Glacier itself and soon it will spread to every major river and the entire country will be poisoned. Pratha and Mahek arrive at the hill and Pratha asks him why he’s doing all this. Her father asks Pratha what her Shiva or her country has ever done for them. Their mother did years and years of tapasya but did Shiva ever come to save her when she was burning in her own home?

Pratha reminds him that it's their country, their soil, it’s all theirs. That Shiva is theirs. Her father taunts her that if Shiva or this country was really theirs, then where were they when their home was burning, when their mother was dying. He reminds her it was Mahek’s destiny to become Shesh Naagin but on that fateful night, Shiva chose Pratha instead. He reminds her that Pratha wanted to lead a simple human life. On that night he lost his wife, both his daughter’s dreams were crashed, they lost their home and what did Shiva do? And what did this country do? One of the two goons who raided their home died the same night, but one was still alive. What did this country’s law ever do? That goon walked away scot-free and no one did anything. Pratha’s father never found justice. This country did nothing, it was him who finally found that second goon and killed him with his own hands. Pratha’s father looked for Pratha and Mahek for years and years but couldn’t find them. Later, when he got to know that they are busy serving this thankless country, that they are busy saving people, then he decided to join hands with Asurs and ruin the country. No one saved his family from destruction, so now he’ll destroy this country itself.

Pratha asks him where is the poison and he says that both Elixir (Amrit) and Poison (Vish), Good and Evil, Ram and Raavan - they are all inside her. He tells her how he changed the Naagmani during that pooja in the Palace. He tells them that the Mani still inside her is the most poisonous stone on Earth and not the Naagmani. Pratha herself is poisonous now. Anything she touches will turn poisonous. The moment the sun rises and this ice melts, the poison will spread in the whole country. All they have is 3 hours.

Pratha and Mahek starts to run but their father uses the Naagmani’s powers to stop them. He whistles to call several Eagles (Cheel) - known predators of snakes, and Mahek runs off alone to fight them. Pratha is devastated to see their father stooping this low and asks him why he’s doing all this. He says that she’s his daughter and she should understand him and his motives before these Eagles make a meal out of her. He points out at how Mahek is struggling to hold her ground against those Eagles and how badly wounded she is. He reminds Pratha that Mahek is trying to save Pratha, that Mahek isn’t the Shesh Naagin and she can’t fight them all off on her own.

He asks Pratha to accept defeat but Mahek screams and tells Pratha not to worry. Pratha’s father asks Pratha to go and save Mahek but she must remember that the moment she’s injured, the moment her blood hits the ground, this entire glacier will get poisoned. He tells her that he’s getting paid a lot of money by foreigners and they can all go to Chingistan and live there and be rich and happy together - Pratha, Mahek and their father. Mahek screams and tells Pratha to not back down. She asks Pratha to take back her Naagmani and save the country. Pratha runs toward Mahek and her father reminds her that even a single drop of her sweat or her blood is no less poisonous. The moment the sun rises, the poison will spread and this country will end.

Pratha reaches Mahek and helps her stand up. Eagles continue to attack both Pratha and Mahek. Pratha starts bleeding but desperately stops her blood from falling down.Their father says he’s aware that Pratha and Mahek must hate him for now, but one day they will understand, one day they will love him for what he’s doing. He’s doing everything for his daughters. One daughter who wanted to lead a simple human life but couldn’t, another daughter who wanted to become Shesh Naagin but couldn’t. Why must Pratha try to save a country that failed them and their dreams? He challenges Pratha that if she’s still so determined to save the country then she can try, she can even call upon her Gods for help but he’s sure no one will come to help her. Her father offers to heal Mahek’s wound if Pratha agrees to accept defeat, only if Pratha agrees to poison the glacier herself.

Pratha laboriously walks to the Ram Temple, all the while chanting 'Jai Shri Ram'. Pratha prays to Lord Ram and says that even though she’s a Shiv Bhakt, but today she needs Ram’s help. Her prayers are soon answered and a sudden tornado hits her father. Because of the sudden impact, the Naagmani falls from his hand. Before she could hold onto the Naagmani, her father grabs it. Pratha pretends to give up and accept her defeat. Right then, the impact of wind causes the temple flag to knock off Pratha’s father. The Naagmani slips from his hands again and Pratha catches it from air. With the Naagmani back inside her, she regains her powers of Shesh Naagin and picks up a bow and arrow from the temple. She aims at her father. He dares Pratha to shoot her own father if she can and the episode ends.
