Who should be the new Black Panther?

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is going to release this year on November 11, and it's still not clear or confirmed who is going to be a new Black Panther.

Shuri seemed to be an obvious choice for many fans after Chadwick's death and Marvel Studios announcing that they're not going to replace him.

But Letitia Wright getting into controversy because of her comments on anti-vaxxers has raised doubts on whether Marvel wants her headline their film or not.

Doesn't matter what we say because Marvel has made it's decision. Still lets discuss who you think should be the next Black Panther and why?

I wouldn't see anyone else as Black Panther so I don't care but if they have to do it then I will say Killmonger or M'Baku. Absolutely no new actor playing T'Challa. Shuri can play herself although it makes sense logically since she's his sister. I don't know but I know it will be painful to watch it without Chad regardless of who takes over.

The Black Panther is the ruler of Wakanda and not T'Challa specifically. In the case of T'Challa's death, the next ruler of Wakanda will be the Black Panther.

While I would love Shuri or Nakia to become Black Panther because we do need more female superheroes, their character arcs won't make sense in that direction.

Shuri loves science and wants to devote time to science and technology too. Nakia does not care for politics and prefers being an anonymous spy in the field. She broke up with T'Challa for it. Becoming Black Panther would mean each of these characters would have to betray a certain aspect of their personality.

That is why I think M'Baku should be the next Black Panther. Despite differences of opinion M'Baku is loyal to Wakanda and is someone who has desired to rule it. It also would make interesting storytelling to see how M'Baku balances his Jabari roots when he has to serve all tribes of Wakana equally.
