I know this is a light hearted post, but it just tells us so much about Aparna and her jhoota dhikawa of muh boli beti over beta. I don't blame her for asking her son about hsi wellbeing, but doing so over the girl you *claim* to support over him where she was the one clearly hurt is 🤢
I mean come on. This beti thing is no more than lip service. And frankly annoying. Narmada, when she calls Imlie her bahu/daughter, she acts like it too. I still remember the day Aryan and Imlie walked into Rathore mansion with garlands, claiming to be married. The first thing Narmada did was ask Imlie if she was happy and if this was consensual. She tole Imlie to say the truth without fearing and she herself would teach Aryan a lesson.
THAT is what ma-beti ka rishta is. Not Aparna's convenience based, shallow one.
