So in movies and shows they tone or alter it to suit present audience. Same thing they did in Aladdin cartoon in 1992 and then in 2018 TV series that is altering with time. Not only in Sab TV show one but even in cartoon movie, Jasmine turned into warrior in 3rd movie which a friend said. Real Aladdin in story was creepy stalker and lier while Badar(real Jasmine) was dumb. After some years I think in Holly they will make Cinderella and Snow White as grey characters and warrior princesses. Or they already did?

Instead of showing FLs weak and dumb in supernatural movies they now should them also as powerful creatures. I think when Piya turned vampire once she should not have shown got back to normal human(not seen that part but read in wikipedia) as more villains arrived soon after that. If she was still vampire then her elder sister would never die.

Baaki I did like some of the things they did to Cinderella in the new movie, some of them didn't make sense but overall that movie sounds awful with all the acting nd things

Though its not aboat itv its aboat films so the question is

Hasn't CBFC become lenient overtime in matter of film certification than it was in 90s like in 90s less disturbing scenes movies compared to movies of today like baazi, sarfarosh, diljale, dilwale, kartavya, arjun pandit etc got A certificate but today's movies with equally disturbing even more than that scenes movies like ik villian, marjavaan, tadap, gangubai kathiawadi gets U/A makes me think if the 90s movies I have mentioned above released now gets U/A, WHY CBFC BECOMES so lenient??????

Aladdin ka they did followed basic things of Zafar as minister and getting magic lamp par ek chhoti story ko lamba show banaane ke liye maal madala daalna hi hoga. But I guess after 100-200 episodes they should have either end it or turned episodic instead of dragging a single story like they made cartoon series on Aladdin. Even in Zee TV's Aladdin, they changed many things but that show got awful after 90-100 episodes (usme Marathi Anantji tha aur vo uska debut show tha😆). My parents did not allow me to watch after few months due to college and I am glad they did as years later I got to know that the show got worse later.

Okay original Cinderella story was very dark with stepsisters having horrible fate. First their mother convinced one to but their big toes and another to cut their heels to fit their foot in the shoes and in the end a vulture plucked out their eyes making them blind. In Sleeping Beauty, I read somewhere that the prince had raped her while she was asleep and made her pregnant.

You should have given examples like gangs of wasseypur. The rampant murder, gali galoch was passed by censor board. Their work is giving a certificate,its time they don't cut down a scene to moral police audience

Time changes, Rosie. Delhi Belly ko A mila tha na. Agar itna lenient nahi rahe na to Bhabhiji TV pe kabhi aa hi nahi paata. But some words they beep or censor was common earlier. Like saying 'bitch' was not beeped in movies or TV as it had simple meaning but now it's banned. In the same way, earlier 'sl*t' was used casually in the West as it simply meant dirty or filthy but now it had different meanings so it gets beeped or censored. Also those times TV was very new to people unlike now. And in that way for theatres, the family would already know by ratings that bacchon ko kaunsa movie dikhaane le jaaye ya nahi.
