To put it mildly, my childhood and life before marriage has been pretty rough. I had never celebrated any of my birthdays as a kid.

But my first birthday after marriage was the first I celebrated & the most memorable one. My spouse made my day very very special, leaving me in a daze to wonder if this is how fairytales were! The following day when I had to come back to real world, I asked him if he could celebrate my birthday again that day!

btw, you can call me weird, but bdays are not my fav at all. :)

I am an introvert & have never celebrated my birthday...nor have my parents went out of their way to celebrate.

I personally detest birthdays and all celebrations related to it. I am attention phobic (I don't know if there's such a word) I avoid all kinds of attention towards me. And the attention I get on Birthdays is something I dread. But I love to celebrate other people's birthday but not my own.

Mujhe toh celebration wala funda samaj nai ata but thik hai ek hi din ki baat hoti hai

For me, bdays have always been very very special. Aur mere ghar par celebrate bhi aaise hi hote the all thru childhood - with a lot of planning, parties, food, gifts, return gifts...Mera bday use to be like mini Diwali❤️😳

So difficult to choose 1 bday which was more special than the rest.

But one bday which made me realise how blessed I was to have good people around me, was in 2001. I had lost my father just about a month ago and obviously celebrations were the last thing on anyone's mind.

But 2 of my mother's friends got together, baked a cake for me and got my fav vada pav. I was so touched...they didn't have to do it, my relatives had not even wished me...but this small gesture from my mother's friends is something I will remember all my life❤️

Baaki toh my bdays are still as special...2 mahine pehle se I start getting excited and planning ki kahan jana hai, kya karna hai🥳🥳🥳

Ok ye wala bhut badiya tha 😳
