Actually now I have come to terms that any film/TV maker will glorify Karna and getting his real character is not possible in this era, hence that no longer affects me until other aspects and characters are given their due.

But yes you are right, Karna will get over glorification in his movie unfortunately. 😔. In fact going by the fact that he mixes fiction into his story, he might make Karna and Krishna best friends instead of KaDu and Krijun, even that won't surprise me

You are right his casting his very much up to mark. I knew neither of Jr.NTR/RamCharan before RRR being from North India. But this movie made me admire them so much that now I don't think any of our actors(I mean the actors from Bollywood) is a response to their acting capabilities

I am sure his movie will have some of the best actors too

First of all, all bollywood actors need to come out of their sophisticated rich persona for these roles. They have to forget themselves as bollywood big stars to get into the skin of these characters.

Bhishma- Big B obviously (No one can do justice to this role apart from him)

Krishna- Hrithik would be the perfect choice. SRK too.

Yudhishtir- Rajkumar Rao

Bheem- Prabhas

Arjun- Ram charan/ Ranveer

Nakul- Aditya Roy Kapur

Sahdev- Any young South actor

Karna- Ayushmaan/ Ranbir

Draupadi- I thought of Deepika but she sucked in Padmavati so a big no to her. Priyanka can be a good choice too if she agrees to return to India. Taapsee too can be a good choice.

Duryodhan- Rana Daggubati

Dushasan- Jr NTR

Shakuni- Pankaj tripathi/ Paresh rawal

Dritarashtra- Sanjay Dutt

Gandhari- Madhuri Dixit

Kunti- Juhi Chawla

Love this casting PareshRawal/Pankaj Tripathi was Shakuni is just so apt. Tapsee and Priyanka could be great for Draupadi

but Jr.NTR for Dusshashan? 😭😭😭

I hope he does the movie soon. Maybe next after his movie with Mahesh Babu is completed. Although a part of me also wants RRR2

Jr. NTR is a natural actor, Ram Charan's performance was uplifted by Rajamauli although he did an amazing job in Rangasthalam (Do add it in your playlist) but I went to watch RRR for Jr. NTR and came out as a fan of RC

This reminds me that in an interview or an event SSR had said that Jr. NTR is his choice for Krishna. I would love to see his transformation from Bheema/Hanuman to Krishna

I agree, I can't think of anyone from Bollywood who can do justice to characters from Mahabharata and frankly, its not possible to make Mahabharata so I'd rather Rajamauli adds scenes from Mahabharata and Ramayana in his screenplay instead of making a Mahabharata where I'd have to watch Karna as a hero 😃🙃

Thanks for the suggestion will definitely watch Rangasthalam hopefully the dubbing is good. I watched Jai Lava Kusa on someone's recommendation and the dubbing was pathetic. For the emotional or important scenes they left the original Telugu dialouges😭😭😭. Can't tell you how irritating it was

No, I am not from Telugu speaking belt, my cousins live in Andhra/Tamilnadu

I prefer watching Telugu movies with subtitles because then I can understand the emotion of the movie as dubbing ruins it for me

Jr.NTR is a mass masala hero, I don't think he has taken any risk in terms of script choice but it was a general consensus among the audience that he is better actor than RC maybe because RC's movies are a hit and a miss, the one which was released right before RRR was terrible 😆

I believe Indian audience would accept it because I guess most people in Hindi belt thought RC's last look was a Lord Rama reveal but for Telugu audience, it was seeing Alluri Sita Rama Raju in his real life attire
