I think Prabhas would make a great Arjun.

Rana Duggubati as Duryodhan and maybe Vidya Balan as Draupadi although personally my favorite would be Bhumi Petnekar

Krishna I will love if it is either Hritik or Jr.NTR(though I don't think Krishna with mustache would be acceptable) in fact anybody except Amir Khan will be OK with me. SRK will be great too. Ranbeer Kapoor too. So many options for Krishna

Bheem could be Yash(KGF hero)

Saif and kaartik Aryan as Nakul Sahdev

Ayushman khurana as Yudhisthir

Ajay Devgan and Raima Sen as Pandu and Kunti

Dhritrashtra and Gandhari could be Anil Kapoor and Tabu

Bheeshm obviously Amitabh Bachhan. Ramcharan as young Devvrat

Rajnikant as Dronacharya

Brahmanand as Shakuni

Akshay Kumar/Ranveer Singh as Karna(he is stylish)

Shradha Kapoor as Subhadra

Darsheel as Abhimanyu

Rajamauli likes Karna so I an not counting on his Mahabharata doing justice to real one because anyone who has read Mahabharata would never like Karna

The man is a genius, he'll certainly pick the best actors and get even better work out of them, I didn't like Ram Charan before RRR, He surprised me with his performance so I guess the credit goes to Rajamauli for it

First of all, all bollywood actors need to come out of their sophisticated rich persona for these roles. They have to forget themselves as bollywood big stars to get into the skin of these characters.

For me,

Bhishma- Big B obviously (No one can do justice to this role apart from him)

Krishna- Hrithik would be the perfect choice. SRK too.

Yudhishtir- Rajkumar Rao

Bheem- Prabhas

Arjun- Ram charan/ Ranveer

Nakul- Aditya Roy Kapur

Sahdev- Any young South actor

Karna- Ayushmaan/ Ranbir

Draupadi- I thought of Deepika but she sucked in Padmavati so a big no to her. Priyanka can be a good choice too if she agrees to return to India. Taapsee too can be a good choice.

Duryodhan- Rana Daggubati

Dushasan- Jr NTR

Shakuni- Pankaj tripathi/ Paresh rawal

Dritarashtra- Sanjay Dutt

Gandhari- Madhuri Dixit

Kunti- Juhi Chawla
