Positives -- no staring contest as they fall in love. 😂

While staring contest is cheesy and can be weirdly entertaining, ultimately, such love stories often feel half-baked. It does not have the right strength. Here, the falling in love is precipitated by two people who for whatever reason cut through all the noise and reach the pain, the tears. And they are fighting against letting each other into their life in a realistic way. The dynamic is changing but it isn't something either enjoy in some ways.

I also like that we have moments of acting where there is no dialogue, just acting and music to convey expressions. ITV is often loud and there is huge dramatic music where they freeze on everyone's expression. It can be both funny as well as super dramatic. Here, they are allowing for quieter moments - this requires strong acting skills and the actors have the chops for it. So it is good the CVs are using the skills of their team.

Lighting is great and there are interesting frames that happen -- makes it rather poetic.

Bold - Agree 💯. Also, I would put it this way. It's really a pleasant feeling to see the actor 'living' their characters. 😍

I see what you’re saying. The first 100 episodes were simply magical and I think bc AKT and Malani were there, there was always a QUESTION if Imlie would go “back”, which I think subconsciously created continual angst and drama for us as the Arylie fandom.

I agree with Pooja that the wedding track really put a wrench in how we as a fandom envisioned our ship, but the end of the wedding track stuck true to BOTH Imlie and Aryan’s base personalities.

Post wedding I’ve enjoyed most of it but I can see where you’re coming from. I’m still obsessed with them bc as long as I get my fix I’ll keep coming back for more 😭

I too am enjoying the episodes; it's just that I am missing that poetic narration that used to be there in the first 100 Arylie episodes.

The first 100 episodes were fire because we were finally seeing a non-toxic ML trying to encourage and uplift the FL without being an utter d*ck about it. The push and pull of them, will they/wont they, the slow understanding and blooming of their friendship and other softer emotions- these kept us on tenterhooks and made us fall in love with them.

Forced shaadi was completely out of character for Aryan and though they tried to make it better, it just disconnected the audience so much that the feelings got buried under all the nonsense.

Post shaadi is getting better but it is slow. So slow. And frustrating to see that they might make a mockery of a major driving force for Aryan's character by making Mr.Patrakaar look innocent.

And Imlie. Less said, the better.

However the post wedding episodes are surprisingly better where they've managed to re establish the previous equation with little progress as well.

It's a slow burn and patience is the key, but it's keeping me hooked for now.

I agree marriage track was a disaster at best, utter nonsense at worst. But the post marriage track so far is doing well for itself... the key word being so far.
