I wonder what compels him to always be her mentor. He went to great lengths to stop her from destroying her career. Even married her and now is letting her reopen his jiju's case. All because this will teach her something. push her to be a good journalist.

I think because she doesnt get scared of him.

And she isnt after him for money or has any other motives , she gives it back by muddying his car. ( which is childish , cause she is infact a teen ).

The same teen, endures so much pain , picks herself back up and fights (even if she fails )

Like the rogues in the street , she fights , she fails but she doesnt easily accepts his help

When he insults her about eating with hand , she guves it back , when she ultimately fails

She learns and shes a fast learner.

He develops soft corner for her and teaches her things. When he ultimately learns , this childish junglisi has been through hell by his arch nemesis , he decided imlie is his cause.

The attraction and the love comes later , the idea of having all of her to himself, comes much later.

You already described my all time favorite scenes already 🥺

That rain scene is everything. I was just watching that episode again today. What a performance by Sumbul and FK 👏👏

Second best scene for me is their conversation at the bridge.

Before that scene Aryan was thinking it was just a breakup for imlie but that night she revealed almost everything about her life to him. She was so broken that she just needed a silent support to process her grief.

Aryan provided her much needed courage and silent support by just staying there in the background without any judgement 🥺

There was something so magical about Arylie in those days. There was no love or romance but just understanding and support to other human being in her lowest point ❤❤😭😭

That scene as well as the scene before she became the CEO when Aryan just handed his Keys to Imlie was an amazing moment for me.

I am very possessive about my car, I wont even let me brother drive it unless its an emergency and never without me. He just gives her the Key.. 🤩🤩

All scenes are my favourite, but this one specifically after PD, the handhold and once back home, the next morning at dining table..Imlie telling Arpi and his mom that he is sick and unwell and the women ganging up against him and he faints and she catches him...I absolutely loved that she is his fallback option like he is for her..

Reason: The next few moments of all 3 sitting on his bed and trying to diagnose what's wrong. Their comfort level was another level..her nautanki when Aryan asks her to go to office as CEO. He has literally replaced himself with her..If this isnt love, respect and trust, what else is??

I do not subscribe to the chocolate fantasy of love. To me love is respect, trust and mutual understanding of goals and aspirations. Based on that Aryan has been in love with her quite some time..

But yes I really enjoyed that scene too..

Lets all reminisce about our favorite Arylie moments so far based on following points-

1. Describe the moment

2. How it affected Arylie relationship

3. Your take or reason to be your favorite.

I know there are so many but lets pick one and let others pick some too.. Let's make it fun and cute discussion. post vms or links and pics.

I will go first.

1. The rain sequence before reaching the hotel on Adilie anniversary. Aryan leaves her on the road sobbing and sitting in middle of nowhere. But comes back and tells her to pick herself up and to focus on her work. To not be weak or expect love and kindness from anyone. To make her way in the world. His words ,"Tumhara sirf breakup hua hai Imlie. Koi mar nahi gaya" "Tum sirf ro rahi ho, appne aapko victim banana band karo"

2. Before that they had a strictly professional relationship but after that scene the walls came down between them. They both got a glimpse of the person they both hide behind the facade. One behind the smiles and laughs, the other behind the heartless and angry ice mountain.

3. I think the makers went with Arylie as per the response they got. But only after this scene. I think This scene was written as soon as Aryan's character was penned. Everything else, Arylie romance and Janiyaa's they all came after the response from the scenes like this. But as soon as ASR was penned this scene was in making. It pivoted the whole dynamics not just between Arylie, but between all the other characters who were not even in the scene. And thats powerful writing. Imlie keeps going back to this scene every time she feels herself weaken. She gets her determination from this when Aparna asks her to stop Aditya from marrying Malini. She says why should a woman have to always guide a man to right path. Why is he so incapable? We can only guide ourselves. We cannot control other's thoughts, actions. She refused to be responsible for Aditya's mistakes for the first time. She replies back to Aditya about his digs thinking back to this. "Hum Kamjoor nahi hai"

And Imlie got her first glimpse of Aryan, real Aryan in this. He immediately became more approachable and dependable to her. There was no romance between them. But just like the pervious chopstick scene where Aryan tells her he is the first person in her life who is not an idiot to indulge her shortcomings. Here he was the first person to not pity her but show her the mirror. Summing her whole problems with the words, "Its just a Breakup" Because really no Breakup is worth stopping yourself from living and wallowing in self pity. Really this is a 20yr old going through her first breakup, thats all! She needed to hear that more than anything. No matter how much she had fantasied her marriage into love affair for ages, 7 janam ka wada and Krishna -Meera bhakti. It basically is just a bad marriage, that was on its last legs.

This scene literally pierced me..I dont know how many times I must have watched this and cried with Imlie..SK portrayed the pain so realistic I couldnt believe I am watching a show. FK as Aryan, he is annoyed drops her off and walks away, but only to come back and out of his zone, stepping out of the car with his head bent was done so so well. Followed by his confrontation to boost her morale by sharing his own side of a deeper impact...

It was visually pleasing as well. Them alone on the bus, with occasional branches brushing their shoulders. Aryan's preparedness even in just a suit empty handed. I mean the guy remembers to grab water and energy bar. Not to mention big wads of cash that he handed over to the basti people for toilets. Now if that is not perfection singh rathore ? I don't know what is.

If he isn't prepared for an impromptu road trip...

I don't want him🤷‍♀️

My all time favourite is the Shiddhat dance. Though Aryan had started feeling subtly for Imlie from the payal scene, I feel like it was from here both of them got connected subconsciously, with Aryan's emotions getting more intense from here.

Kismat Bana Loon Meri Chahat Bana Loon
I’d make you my fate and the love of my life.
Dil Se Main Mangoon Ibadat Bana Loon
I would ask for you and pray for you from the bottom of my heart.

Chhute Kabhi Na Wo Adat Bana Loon
I’d have a habit for you that would last a lifetime.
Aa Shiddat Bana Loon Tujhe
I’d make you my deepest desire.

These are the lines that were played the moment the transition happens to the black-maroon attires, indicating an intense emotional bond developing between them.
