Earlier I have always maintained the reason Chameli is worst than Fateh is that she is an actual criminal. Her actions actually caused Tejo very real harm not just emotional but very physical and tangible. That was the biggest difference between her actions and fateh's.

His pain is just emotional. Nothing else. T is the one suffering through the crime. She'd be the one who can lose her job, whose character has been tarnished in front of everyone, who'll face harassment. And btw even if his face was visible he still wouldn't be facing so much backlash. A woman is always way more vulnerable than a guy.. Here toh he's not visible at all. T is the one mad at him... How does that matter? He can easily walk away. T is the one who's gonna carry all the disgrace.
