Naagin 6 Written Update 10th April 2022
The episode starts with Rishab angrily entering his room. He doesn’t understand why he’s so hurt after hearing Pratha’s words about marrying him for money. He receives a call from his Army Chief who arranges an urgent meeting with him.
Mahek asks Pratha why she hurt Rishab like that. Pratha tells her that she came here for a purpose. She came here just to reach that 5th Asur and she has to remain as Rishab’s wife for her mission but that doesn’t mean she would stop Rishab from moving on. It’s pretty clear that Rishab loves Reem and not her. So now Pratha has decided that she will let him move on.
The Army Chief informs Rishab that they have found a clue about the man behind this conspiracy. He says that the traitor’s initial plan was to poison the Yamuna River but as far as they know, some unknown patriot, a messiah has foiled their plan. There are chances that this messiah has ended the life of 4 of those traitors, since there’s no more news about any of them. Whoever this messiah is, he or she has saved this country from those 4 traitors. But they are yet to catch the 5th traitor who’s the most dangerous of all. No one has seen his face yet, not even his own people. No one knows where he came from and how long he’s been doing all this. He’s known as The Mastermind and they have to find him anyhow. Rishab assures the Army Chief that he need not worry and they’ll give their best shot. Pratha eavesdrop on their entire conversation.
Pratha is trying to find some clue about the 5th Asur by listening to the recorded conversation between Rehan and the Asur. Mahek enters and Pratha tells her that Rehan must have known the identity of this Mastermind,so they will use Rehan to reach this 5th Asur or the Mastermind.
On the dinner table Pratha tries to make Rishab jealous by sitting beside Yash, serving him food and innocently flirting with him. Rishab notices them together and in turn decides to make Pratha jealous. He starts calling Reem and tells Vihan how worried he has been about Reem. Just then Rehan receives a sudden call and leaves to attend it. Pratha goes after him and hears him talking about an upcoming party of some Diamond Merchant. Pratha decides to follow Rehan to the party.
Rehan, his fiancé, Yash, Pratha and Mahek all go together to the party. Mahek notices that there’s a diamond on exhibition which looks eerily similar to Naagmani. Pratha tells Mahek that they have to catch the Mastermind anyhow in this party. Rishab and Inspector Vijay are at the party as well. Inspector Vijay tells Rishab that this party is organised by some Karan Mehra who’s a Diamond Merchant and the diamond exhibited here looks exactly like the ‘Naagmani’ which is known to be the most powerful stone on Earth. They’ve got an inside information that a deal is about to go down here and that’s why Rishab had to be called by his Army Chief to attend this party as well.
Karan Mehra enters the party and Pratha suspects that he might be the Mastermind after all, since she had heard Rehan describing the Mastermind on his phone call as a 6 ft tall man who wears a hat.
Pratha and Rishab suddenly collide with each other and are surprised to find one another at the same party. Rishab notices that Pratha has come herewith Yash and taunts her that he got an invitation as well. Pratha notices Reem in the back and wrongly assumes that Rishab is here with Reem. She assumes that Rishab wanted to spend some time alone with Reem and that’s why he didn’t ask Pratha to go with him instead. Pratha leaves with Yash while Rishab leaves with Reem. Rishab tells himself that Pratha is anyway with him just for money’s sake, she’s free to live as she pleases and he must move on with Reem. Rishab thinks that he would never let anyone know he’s been sent here by the Army for his mission, and Pratha on the other hand thinks that she would never let anyone know she’s here to end that Mastermind.
Mahek asks Pratha why she was taunting Rishab like that. Pratha says that all she wants is for Rishab to move on with the love of his life. Mahek tells her that she’s lying and she loves Rishab. Pratha disagrees and tells her that she honestly wants him to move on and that can only happen if Rishab sees Pratha happy with someone else. And anyway, her mission comes before love so her priority at the moment is to find out whether this Karan Mehra is the real Mastermind or not. She changes the topic and tells Mahek how she heard Rehan talking to the Mastermind and got to know of their plan of stealing the diamond at midnight.
Rishab confronts Reem and asks her why she’s here at the party. Reem says that she got an invitation too. Reem tells him how angry she is at Rishab because he hasn’t tried to meet her even once since she has left Gujral Mansion. Is he in love with Pratha now? Does he even miss Reem at all? If he ever really missed her, he would’ve called her. Rishab disagrees and assures her that he’ll let Pratha go to the right person once the right time comes. Rishab is sure that Pratha will definitely leave him once she finds someone she truly loves.
Pratha and Yash are standing together and Rishab stares at Pratha. He’s confused about Pratha constantly telling him that she married him just for money but somehow her words and her eyes don’t match. Her eyes say something else when she’s looking at him. He knows that he should be feeling angry looking at Yash and Pratha together, but he’s feeling jealous instead. Rishab thinks about the inside information he received from Inspector Vijay that the diamond will be stolen by midnight. Pratha notices Rishab walking by and playfully collides with Yash, making an excuse that she saw a cockroach and got scared. Rishab sees them and gets even more jealous. Yash offers her a drink and she refuses at first, but when she sees Rishab noticing them she takes the glass in her hand. Rishab interrupts them and stops her from drinking alcohol and tells her to stay in her limits. Pratha challenges Rishab that he hasn’t even seen her crossing her limits yet.
Pratha walks off with Yash and they slow-dance together on Shaayad (Love Aaj Kal 2). Rishab and Reem start slow-dancing too. Inspector Vijay takes Mahek’s hand and takes her to the dance floor as well. After the couple dance, Pratha solo-dances on Allah Duhai Hai (Race 3) and there’s a sudden blackout after her performance ends. Inspector Vijay notices that the diamond is stolen. They run after the thief to catch him and Rishab succeeds in catching the thief. Pratha on the other hand runs after Karan Mehra and drags him outside. She questions him whether he’s a traitor and he refuses. He says that he was told to steal the diamond by Rehan himself. That it was Rehan who told him to dress like this and come to the party. Pratha realizes that she has been tricked by Rehan into wrongly believing that Karan Mehra is the real Mastermind, the 5th Asur but in reality this Karan Mehra is just a petty thief.
Rehan is seen talking to 5th Asur - The Mastermind who tells him that he knew someone would eavesdrop on Rehan’s phone-call. Someone who has been foiling all their plans till now, someone very powerful. It turns out that the 5th Asur - The Mastermind is Pratha’s own father. He admits to selling his own country because his country never helped him, never valued him. He tells Rehan that in case Karan Mehra fails to steal the diamond, then he has another lackey in place who will steal it instead. They are both unaware that Karan Mehra has been caught by Pratha, and their second lackey has been caught by Rishab and Inspector Vijay. Pratha’s father tells Rehan that he has successfully thrown everyone off track and has finally executed his main plan of poisoning the Yamuna River. While everyone is busy in the diamond theft, his other lackey will push a school-bus filled with dangerous poison into the Yamuna River.
Yash calls Pratha and asks her where she’s been. He tells her that Rehan has been missing too all this time. Pratha asks after Rehan and Yash casually tells her that Rehan got a sudden call, he was saying something about the Yamuna and left abruptly. Pratha and Mahek suspect that Rehan must be working with Asurs and they might have been planning to poison the Yamuna again.
Pratha and Mahek hurries to the Yamuna River and notices a school-bus full of children on a cliff, about to fall into the river. They guess that the poison must be somewhere inside the school-bus. Pratha tries to balance the front-end of the bus while Mahek holds on to it’s rear-end. Pratha prays to Lord Shiva for strength and asks him to give her the multi-headed Mahanaag Roop,also known as the Sheshnaag Roop. Pratha’s prayers are soon answered and she uses her multiple heads to balance the quickly falling school-bus over her heads. Because of Pratha and Mahek’s strength, the school-bus finally gains balance and the children inside are saved. Mahek catches hold of the bus-driver and he tells her that he was paid to drive this bus into the river. Mahek kills him with her snakebite. Pratha notices that unfortunately 2 children are hanging from the steep cliff and struggling to hold on. Pratha instantly shifts into her human form and runs to save the children. The children are amazed at her strength and the children’s parents express their sincere gratitude to her.
All of a sudden Pratha notices someone drowning in the river and jumps inside to save the person. It turns out that it’s Pratha and Mahek’s own father whom she just saved. They’re both shocked and overjoyed to find their father alive after all this time, after that ill-fated night when they lost their entire family.
They take their father with them to Gujral Mansion. When they reach home, Seema asks Pratha where she’s been and who is this man. Mahek starts telling them that they found him injured but she gets rudely interrupted by Rishab’s Chaachi/Aunt. Rishab’s Aunt insults them and asks what they actually think about this Mansion. That they’re free to bring any random man, any injured stray, any old beggar into this house as they please. Pratha shouts at her and tells her to mind her tongue. Seema reminds Pratha to speak respectfully to her elders. Pratha softens and reminds Seema that she’s the daughter-in-law of this house too. She tells everyone that the man she brought along is not a random stranger to her but her everything - her Guruji/mentor/master. She saw him injured so she brought him home. Rishab’s Aunt tell her to go to the hospital instead but Rishab interrupts her, telling her that they can give the same treatment to him at home as well. And Pratha being the daughter-in-law has certain rights of her own, so if she wishes to bring her Guruji here then what’s the problem.
Vihan helps Pratha and Mahek take their father upstairs to the room and Pratha starts reminiscing about her childhood and her father. She remembers how her father used to save up money for Pratha’s marriage since Mahek was destined to become the Shesh Naagin but Pratha was always going to lead a simple human life. She remembers how their father used to sing lullaby for them, how much he loved them. Coming back to the present, Mahek asks Pratha to calm down and not let anyone know of their father’s real identity. Mahek is glad to know that all three of them can now find that 5th Asur together. Pratha vows to find the Mastermind and end him for once and for all.
