3 PROBLEMS of late in Anupamaa

1. The WRITERS

Apparently there are 3 writers. How they divide the story between themselves is not clear. The only thing evident is that one day an epi is ok, even nice, and the next it is kharab, useless, etc. etc.

That means there is

2. No CONTINUITY, no sustained vision

One day they show the new, bold, our heroine Anu, the next we're pained by regressive, submissive, reform-denying Anupamaaaaaa

Also because there is

3. No LOGIC
No elaboration needed here...

UNTIL THEY CHANGE ANY - or better: all of them -, we either accept and continue watching ... and SUFFERING

or

simply STOP watching.

But then, to miss out on #MaAn 🥺

Completely agree.. same recycled ideas.

do you think that part of the problem is that they have no long term vision for the show? or maybe they have a couple of main events that will happen in her life and in between each event its just filler? why not follow sreemoyee at this point if u have nothing? we know they dont have a bank of episodes but do they not have a story prepped either?

I think:

1. They do NOT have a long-term vision. Or, to give them the benefit of the doubt (mahaan Anu style), not anymore. If they had one at all.... 🤔

2. Even if they did or have, the fact that there are 3 writers MESSES up everything. One person thinks this way and writes accordingly, the second follows another line, and number three sees only her own plot. 😕

3. Moreover, apparently, these same writers are also involved in other serials. It is humanly IMPOSSIBLE to divide one's attention so much and be creative - leave aside, original - for all of them.

And so, we end up with this disease of DCT : drab/drag, circle/recycle, and torture. 🤢

I feel particularly sad for the MaAn leads. How can one evolve a truly realistic character when one is constantly left wondering which way the story goes next?!

im not saying that they need to come up with something original and out of the box. at the end of the day, every show is a mis-mash, rehash of plots, themes, characterizations that we have seen before. what makes it special is when they add their own flavour and how they leads bring the character to life.

i almost wish they would break and come back with a season 2. maybe it would give them some time need to rejuvenate and find some inspiration.

Well, let MaAn get married first 😉

A new season , a new plot - but, yes, MaAn should remain in the centre 🤗
