And why do ppl always bring up Dharma as a retort is beyond me. Ppl here are hate obsessed with KJO it seems. Agar review positive hota to bhi bolti kya mera film review mat karo? Nhi na. Agar koi altu-faltu critic hota to bhi repost karti "thank you , much appreciated etc". Agar praise accept kar sakte ho apni performances ka to criticism bhi usi "stride" me leni chahiye. Thats all i am saying.

How you worded the criticism and how the reviewer worded are completely different, you can see the malicious in one and yours is more constructive criticism. People have given her constructive criticism in the past..I mean Sanam Re was a bad movie cmon, but this one came off very below the belt for no reason.

KJO is an easy reference since how he stuffed Alia down our throats was so I guess public....esp since the reviewer was poking fun her past choices in role and how Alia at least in the beginning got roles solely from KJOs word and backing its a bit upsetting esp since her performance in Vicky Donor was better than Alia in SOTY.

alia acted like she was supposed to act in SOTY Yami acted like what she was supposed to act in Vicky Donor. She had a better role in vicky donor than alia in SOTY not neccessarily better acting. Heck vicky donor was a way better movie than SOTY.

Yami in Vicky Donor >>>> Alia in student of the year.

LOL that was my point - but Alia got better roles because of KJO, like to get Highway after that was like mindblowing and it all come out just KJO personally requested Imitiaz to cast her.

But she does. If anything Anupama is criticized for her high-faluting vocabulary and not using the common-man's spoken English. Which sounds like a silly argument. Anybody who reads or writes a lot knows that words from a book make their way into conversation. It's not being done purposefully for sounding elite or snobbish. Anyway this particular review is written by Rahul and not by Anupama.
