I don't think the new entry will have any ulterior motives, but don't quote me on that. They change with every tide.

See, he was in quarantine before that and her entire world was revolving around him for that one day, and he liked it.

His family didn't even call to ask how he is but priya didn't let him feel alone or lonely.

She gave him; care, concern, love, understanding. She treated him like a small child being scolded and showered with all the attention he could get when sick, for the first time after his parents, someone made him feel wanted in their life without asking for anything in return.

All she wanted from him in that moment was his health and him being back with her.

And when he got out, they got into a fight and priya was gone the entire day. Everyone knew where she was or what she was doing but kept him in the dark. And he knew that. It irked him. He was expecting to get all of priya's time and attention but what he got was neglect, ignorance and secrets from her in his perspective.

Then he was made to believe that, she choose to spend her time with someone she doesn't like over him. His abandonment issues were triggered and he threw tantrums like a child until he saw that she was not neglecting him but was busy planning this party for him.

And similar to a child, he was ashamed of his actions but didn't know how to ask for an apology bcz he has never really learned to ask for it when he does something wrong.

Ram knows how to ask for an apology for someone else's mistakes, bcz that is what he has done his entire life. Ask sorry for his family's mistakes.

But no one ever questioned his mistakes but make him a victim of the situation to manipulate him. That is what happened on the birthday, he was portrayed to himself as the victim of priya's neglect by vedika, neeraj and nandini. So when he realised what a big eff up he has done, he didn't know how to look her in the eyes and say sorry.

It's not like he didnt feel remorse for it, he just didn't wanted to bring it up again as all his life he has learned to live in guilt for one thing or the another, so he added it to the list and locked it up in his unconscious brain. It is part of his trauma.

He has been forced/made to live a guilt-ridden life by nandini, so what happened on his birthday was not looked by him as something new. For him he effed up again, earlier he would have gotten something materialistic to make up for it but with Priya it doesn't work like that, and before he could gather enough courage to talk to Priya vedika played her game and side tracked the entire bday events bcz she had witnessed that Ram is trying to take efforts for Priya.

I wouldn't say there was no jealousy; as a small prick of it definitely was, but definitely a complete temper tantrum. I remember the office scene on that day when he was in a meeting with a client and Adi, and Ram was not even paying attention. He was solely concentrating on his phone, b/c Pri was not picking up. He threw tantrums something along the lines of - "absolutely ridiculous."

Yes, I agree even V's ditching him was guilt for him. He blamed himself for not having enough money to keep Vedika with him. He was made to play the victim card all the time. That b'day fiasco was the first time he knew that he was not the victim but later figured out he wrongly victimized Pri. If you think back, the morning after he left the office early which is another reason he didn't want to face her due to his recklessness toward Pri knowing that she is a no-nonsense girl who allowed him to peek at her heart some hours back.

I think it is Nandini’s game plan. Ram for the first time raised his hands against Shivina. Maybe Priya will ask Ram to stop investigation and then Nandini might tell Ram that MS is involved in the case … or may tell Priya that MS is involved

This presence is for Priya to give Ram assurity from her side. She will see that Ram is uncomfortable and doubting himself, so she will tell him what he told her on Friday.

That Ram is all she cares about, and no neeraj, Krish or anyone can take ram's place in her life.

Yes, Nandini played the victim card again that time. Ram knows this now consciously and not subconsciously anymore. When Priya got mad for Akki's stepbrother comment, then also he shoved it under the carpet instead of addressing it. I hope after the BTS, Pri really gives him hug first and then tell him to straighten up and open his eyes. He has one family and that is Priya. He needs to understand this. Really wish she teaches him the definition of self-respect.
