I think it is also her nature.. she takes a little time to open up.

Yeah, that too. But she is comfortable with his physical proximity now, it is just that there was already emotion overload in that scene, and she needed a bit of distance.

I thought after what he had to say , she would gain that confidence but I think she needs more time. I just loved the entire conversation. I saw it in loops.

And when Priya made the promise, only Ram was distress, both Sara and MM looked proud of her,

@bold: I think yes, it wasn’t who he was behaving like that with… all that mattered was who was in front of Priya. Also, if it were Ram’s own mother she could have reprimanded Priya as a motherly gesture but would not have attacked her as viciously as Nandu and Mami did…

So I think more than the person attaching it was the attack that angered him… and to the extent that it did not matter who it was…

Also, all the while though he was speaking to Mami… oblique references were to Nandu.. to keep away from his wife.

When he looks at Priya the expressions are so soft, empathising with her and opposite when he turns around.

his act was top class yesterday, when he walked in between Priya and Mami.. it reminded me of the dialogue in the early episodes.. “ Main tere aur zamane ke beech aa jaunga “

Watching Ram-Meera scene, Ram says Meera has the same right on him as the birth mother, so basically Meera > Nandu now, and he is returning the favour of being called sauteli over all these years.

I made a post about it in previous thread, that Ram doesn't trust nandini not taking advantage of this promise.

Also i pointed out specifically how indifferent he was towards nandini similar to how indifferent he was towards vedika in the office scene. He was extremely pissed at nandini for yelling at priya, but since she is his mother so he indirectly warned nandini through mami.

And in comparison to that, he was completely opposite towards Meera and yesterday he got his first ever " ma ke seene se lagna" after that he called Meera only " MA".

He is starting to see and feel the difference of true love and concern and the fake one.

He always knew that nandini doesn't really love him but sympathises with him, as he is a responsibility to her from VK. And she always plays the sautela card but now he is starting to see that nandini is all not what she sees to be.

Same as vedika is not all that she seems to be.

Aaj ram ne bola na ki, vo situations ki gehraaiyon ko samjhna seekh Raha hai priya se, jo dikhta hai vo hamesha hota nahi.

Also he put Meera above Nandini. In KM he said Meera is not less than nandini for him. But in SH he said Meera has similar rights on him and can take him for granted as a birth mother.

But he never gives that kind of liberty to nandini. If you remember in the beginning when Nandini fixed his marriage to Priya without asking him he refused straightforwardly until shivi was presumed pregnant! He respects nandini but won't let her control him that's why she manipulates him. Whereas if Meera will ask him to jump, he will ask how high!

That's the difference that was pointed out yesterday.

Seventh rain scene - Ram's b'day

Eighth rain scene - shower

Ninth rain scene - will happen now. [Do you know that the number 9 means 'judgment?']

Hence, Confession time.

For Ram's piece in my Nazar vs. Nazariyaan, I described the lightning in the pilot episode with the help of the quote from The Palace of Illusions. If you want, read it to understand the meaning of lightning in that scene.

Arn't you just the queen of symbolisms 😇
