She’s not wrong. Didn’t Hina Khan say the same thing a few years back? Back then it was the looking down on TV actors, even if they were invited to Cannes. But no surprise the discrimination exists within Bollywood itself too.

But then that is the business. Ganda hain par dhandha hain ye. Designers lend their clothes and in return seek publicity and brand value.. they would obviously lend it to the ones they think would give them the maximum mileage as a brand and if that ain't you then it is not their fault. Such treatment is hurtful when meted out to you but then there are many actresses/actors who refuse to wear newbie designer's brand even if the clothes are lot better than the biggies and sometimes even if they agree to wear it..it comes with them asking hefty amount for it and not to mention free ka "shopping" for them and their clan.
