Alia's mother is Soni Razdan..whose siblings r Tina and Karan Razdan. Their mother was British and father Indian.

Mahesh Bhatt's mother was Muslim..but his first wife Lorraine (pooja Bhatt's mother) adopted the name Kiran Bhatt.

So seems like Alia's parents converted to Islam when they got married.

It's all complicated..hope I was clear enough😆

There is a book where the protag is called half Hindu, half Muslim. How the heck? Those are faiths, not races.

I mean if Alia is sensible, she will have kanyadaan done so as to not create any tension with a certain political party. And also if she is sensible, she is probably neither Hindu nor Muslim 😎

Because Katrina chose it. However, that marriage has no legal validity since both are not Hindu.
