Folksies! Today's epi was so cute (except for the Shah house scenes) with Anu and Anuj talking over the shaadi preps in earnest, after the April-fooling fun at the door early morning.
But, seated at this simple cafe table, look at all the fun and frolic they threw at us viewers in the bargain: in a deft money-saving movement, assigning shaadi-related jobs to all the 'good' Shah members which would have involved super-expensive outsiders otherwise, outlining how they would re-cycle their clothes as wedding outfits, describing the baraat's movements in auto-ricks.... š¤Ŗ
If that wasn't April fooling around further, then what? š„³
At the same time, there was this warm intimacy, the genuine tears on either side, when they got to the core of what this shaadi was actually all about: after a wait of 26 years, to walk away with each other into a new life together, simply and happily.
That would be all the dhoom-dhaam they would wantšāļø
To me, it was the high point of this epi - and again, Rupali and Gaurav were just spot on on their MaAn#day! š¤
