Givers and takers

I read somewhere that there are 2 types of people - one that keep giving in a relationship hoping for even slight token of attention/love/appreciation.

.. And second who take take and take - and have zero gratitude bec yeh toh unka haq tha. They will turn around and ask 'maine thodi kaha tha mere liye yeh karo'

Imlie is both.

When it comes to aditya she turns into a giver. He figuratively bled her dry taking everything.

But when it comes to aryan, she is a complete taker. When has she not taken from him?

From money to emotional support to help, she takes everything and gives nothing in return. He is there for all her low points and she is the cause of most of his. When has she lent a supportive voice/hand/understanding to him??

Seriously now i can't understand why is he in love with this girl bec she has never ever put him first. He does not figure in her list of apne, her list of priorities.

Sorry for the rant. Just so annoyed with her today. When it comes to aryan and even his family, Imlie is indifferent at best and selfish at worst.

I genuinely don't see what Aryan sees in her anymore, before she had ambitions and was trying to move past her problems but now🤕 Aryan respected and wanted to nurture her potential but she's hell bent on throwing it down the drain😡

Hmm.. that sounds about right, but both are unhealthy relationships for one party or the other...

I think Aryan loves how far she will go to protect those she cares about. Imlie has proven that she loves Arpita and Narmada and that is enough for him.

Well that's a pattern, what surprises me is that she can't make connections, i mean she clearly saw her Nani for her abuse, but can't see the repetition of behaviour in T family?
