You might want to portray their angst through their actions / dialogues/ monologue, esp if you are not using the lyrics directly.

The ITV couples that comes to my mind for this song are Ram-Priya from BALH2 (due to its current Vedika track 🤦🏻‍♀️) and Aditya-Zoya from Bepannah, but I would love to read about any OTP the writer has and/or wants to write about.

Tagging few of my favorite writers. But this prompt is open for anyone who wants to take it up. 😃

Wow this is a huge compliment. Thanks for being so sweet and encouraging Tia.❤️

I listened to the song but am not able to connect to it. But I shall look into the lyrics and try to write something just for you🤗 Can it be any couple and does it have to be related to the show or can it be AU too?

Wow, thank you so much for agreeing to write on this, Hina 🤗 As far as I understood, I felt the angst in the song is around a kind of dissonance or misunderstanding or separation between the couple. But any song is open for interpretation. So, you can interpret it according to you and go with the flow. 👍🏼

Of course, as I said before, if it is a nice angsty one shot I am happy with any couple or AU. 🙈

I love angst and I love writing stories with song lyrics in them so this is just my type of thing

Here's a list of prompts for the month of Ramadan (following the one-prompt-per-post rule):

1. In an interfaith couple with a habit of eating lunch together, during Ramadan, non-observing Character A feels lonely at lunch, having to stay out of sight and out of earshot of fast-observing Character B.

Here's a list of prompts for the month of Ramadan (following the one-prompt-per-post rule):

2. During Ramadan, Muslim Character A is menstruating and forbidden to pray. Knowing that the extended family comes together for sunset and evening prayers, she is faced with a choice: either she can sit apart and feel self-conscious, or she can go through the motions of prayer without the intention, which is what her mother taught her to do. She interacts with Sikh Character B, who is used to group prayer that is menstruation-inclusive.

Here's a list of prompts for the month of Ramadan (following the one-prompt-per-post rule):

3. A Muslim character's first Ramadan away from the native country is awkward, as s/he has to attend lunchtime meetings where everyone else is eating, and has to follow a schedule without any company: wake up, eat and drink, go back to sleep, wake up and observe the day-long fast, and break the fast. Non-Muslim colleagues find out the problem and organize an evening meal as a show of support.

4. A couple that normally makes playtime during the day has to work around the Ramadan prohibition on satisfying that appetite before dusk. Does frustration create tension between them, or do they discover other ways to feel intimate?

Here's a prompt for Guḍhī-Pāḍavā and Rāma-Navamī:

As a couple observes the nine-day-long festival that celebrates the birth of Rāma, their elders repeatedly hint about it being time to start a family. Day by day, their responses run the spectrum (in any order you like): embarrassment; indifference; chafing at expectations; eagerness; self-doubt; planning; intimacy; argument; celebration.

Here are ten prompts (following the one-prompt-per-post rule) based on Mehandī Hai Racanevālī alluding to events other than what we saw on screen.

1. Who is Shveta Raghavan? When Raghav is upset that Jaya won't let him talk to Kirti (February 18 episode), he likes Farhad's suggestion to attend Shveta Raghavan's birthday party. However, his next scene is at a club where nobody mentions a birthday and Anjali is there.
