Thinking a lot on what Aryan said "Agar koi mere pass khud nahi ata toh mein bhi uske peeche nahi bhagta" seems to be a lot of foreshadowing for how this relationship will be.

Imlie will continue to be her self, Aryan supporting her in as much of a neutral way as he possibly can until Imlie is compelled to let go of her anger and accept Aryan as hers. The pace of their relationship is now within Imlies control and I personally am looking forward to her chasing Aryan a bit.

She needs to lift her curtains on her eyes then everything will fall on place but before curtain lifting Aryan may go through lot of pain because of her words and taunts.
