Shabia, thank you for this post👍🏼. I have been hiding under a rock and doing my work for the last week. I just watched yesterday's and the day before's episode, I didn't get any warm fuzzies watching Imlie🤔 Totally yuck! ASR, of course gave me the warm fuzzies, bhar bhar ke❤️

Yes, I don't understand the purpose of this track either, other than as somebody mentioned for the T family to take a holy dip🤣 and become the most self-less clan around😡 Never was able to tolerate Rupi and Aparna, still can't💔

They had these extravagant sets and celebrations, but never served us with a nice, festive feast. What good is it if you get dressed in finery and do cheap stunts😡 Will never forgive Imlie for the stupid bride swap🤬 What if she didn't hear the intentions of BM and BD. Would that be OK to marry off ASR with anybody just because........ If she said no, her concern is that patrakaar's life will be destroyed. So, is it OK to give a life sentence and destroy ASR's life instead? If the Rathore family is fine with BD as the bride, they would have done so a long time ago😡🤬Sorry, I think I gave a lot of concessions to Imlie for being the 18/19 year old and therefore being foolish toh banta hain. But not with this harkat💔🤬

What now with ASR? I agree, he is the bigger man here and backed out of forcing a marriage. But, if every act of his is looked at as some manipulation when manipulation ( T family ) actually stares at you and gives you a thappad, it is simply too much to take. I am mentioning stupid monologue of Imlie as Aryan pulled out her papers from the fire and burned his hands🤗She won't understand ASR's integrity at all. For me, integrity is what you do when no one is looking. See how he takes care of Meethi and reveres her genuinely. Stupid and idiotic Imlie is just that, stupid and idiotic😡 Is his revenge gone for good now? How does that sit with the story line?

She talks a lot about apne and Narmada and Arpita. If she comes back tomorrow to " protect" these two from BM and BD, I won't be happy.👎🏼 They don't need " protection" from her per se. It could all be solved in less than a minute by ASR if she just told him about BM, BD intentions. Unlike her, he won't ask for any proof, he has no love lost for them. He already roared at them into their place😎And, hopefully, ASR is no puppet who would just marry any Tom, Dick and Harry, just because he is decked up as the groom And let me also say this, if Narmada will get salty with her for pulling this stunt of leaving the wedding in the middle, I won't blame her too🤗

So, if ASR backed out of the wedding out of his own volition, what is that promo of reception with jhaadu etc.😡? BTW, if you are a janitor, do you need to cry from the roof tops that you are a janitor for attention, so you can cry and villify other people for judging you. If you respect your profession, can you simply do your duty and move on? Why do you want to do all this, just to attract unsavory attention?

This foolish girl doesn't understand when he says, Meethi's beizzati is equal to Imlie's and that in turn equals ASRs. How many people in our life would actually feel that way about us😭 And his line of " tumhaari haar mein meri jeet kabhi nahin ho sakti"❤️ He has my heart. If ASR is my family member, I would advise against his alliance with this girl💔 No two ways about it

Imlie's happiness of breaking through the "shackles" is nauseating to watch. Nobody shackled her, she always had a choice. She just didn't want that option and took this option. Now with all her tantrums, she just twisted ASR to agree to her argument unconditionally. This is because of the goodness of his heart, his inability to see her sooo sad, fulfilling her part of a silly deal which she didn't have to take in the first place🤬

I hope they focus a little on Imlie's characterization. She has a very inflated sense of self with grandiosity. She is a tantrum throwing young woman, she is able to do all the mahaan things she is doing for the Tfamiy because, ASR is enabling all the nonsense😭 If she thinks this is some great win👎🏼, I am going to scream.

Both Aryan and imlie was wrong and right at their own places. Aryan is matured and he really knows what he wants. He knows he have feelings for her and he don't want to loose her, that's the main point. Even after arpita di pointed him to accept his feelings, he didn't. He feel insecure and he can't stand the fact she is drowning, demolishing herself in process of saving AKT and his family. He also fear she may reconcile with her ex husband again. He proposed her marriage in a twisted way which makes him villian Infront of her eyes. He choosed hate above love. Yes imlie always had a choice of walk out from day one but she isn't that person. Even alter Aryan also pointed the same, Imlie never think of herself no matter what and he can't snatch her decisions of her life. Aryan could have say it on her face that he won't back off from his revenge and he didn't used her instead he proposed for a marriage even after knowing she won't back out because of her savior syndrome. Both Aryan and imlie was on their land with stubborn attitude, they didn't thought of family happiness or their hear break's.

Today he realized his mistake he backed out and she wants to run away from marriage because right now she isn't ready for anyone. Both win and loss, right and wrong on their own places.

Aryan - finally understood he may have good intentions but he can't take decision for others.

Imlie - she feels she a got a real freedom now, no one will push her or Force her for marriage. Whatever may, now it's her right, her choice, her decision.

1. Imlie became free cos Aryan took decision for her. She didn't take decision that he ws waiting for her to take. He was thinking since haldi evn during phera why u doing this. He still don't known about BD plan of imlie but it don't matter cos she came back. So she is free cos Aryan took decision for her. Yaar I am A bit optimistic on this front if we broaden the scope a bit. Here are the lessons

For Imlie: choices. Her own marzi and her own decisions. Right or wrong. Bad or good. The choice to make her own decisions. She fought for it and she got it in the end. if she now marries him it will be her choice rather being forced into a decision. If she decides to go back to AKT she would go back in knowing she has decided to embrace the darkness that will be her life with this man. (Stockholm syndrome and all) but from here on regardless who she chooses aryan or AKT those will be her choices that she has the right to make. Ironic true.

The fact that aryan had to give her that freedom and she couldn’t snatch it for herself is the sad part as a woman for me.

For aryan: doesn’t matter what your intentions are. However honorable. You can’t take somebody ability to make their own decisions. That what he did for Imlie and realized that what he is trying to protect would die if he moved forward. What he was doing was worse for her as it killed her spirit. Her silence was the price to pay for taking course of her destiny.

A couple of additional points.
Like Aru said. She puts people first in this world of selfishness and you want to change that about her. Sometimes people have these intrinsic values like Imlie does of putting others first. They harm her but doing good and helping others always bring that good karma back to the sender. That a general belief right.
for Imlie when she decided to put herself first. Guess what she did. She was going to ruin multiple lives there. A lesson she learned the hard way.

Am I defending imlies hero complex, no. Am I defending her right to be who she wants to be. Yes.

For me that’s what I got out of this whole crazy track. 😘😜

p.s. what did AKT learn: the great resignation.

U r absolutely right. Writers very conveniently whitewash her mistakes. Her so called SELFLESS decision ruined Malini life. They would never called out her mistakes.

She has not feeling about AKT. But still she was confused when Aditya purposed her for marriage after Malini expose. She didn't clearly reject him. When he again purpose her for marriage after nakli shaadi. She said she can't do this marriage because she is already married to someone. What is this? She is still sacrificing herself for his family. How would I connect with this character.

Makers didn't give us any monologue from her side. They skip Holi to mehndi, mehndi to Sangeet, Sangeet to haldi. Without any proper monologue.

When Aryan already free her she still here for humiliate him like this. She victimized herself never thought she had already choice. I don't think she free herself. It's not her decision. Aryan free her her. So if she can't take any decision about herself how she can be a strong. No she is not strong. She is weak.

Also, there was too much understanding/trust btw them before, so the relationship had to go through test of times that it is.

Itna mat socho, arylie in first 100 episodes was completely different from now.

And to what they achieved with this track, we will now get to see the rebellious side of Imlie now, who is now angry with the ones who loves her the most. I am going to watch her in the way I see my son. 😆. My hubby is the one who pampers him a lot, sides him with his dreams, not so tough with his expenses etc. While, I am the stricter one who shouts, scolds & at times used to harass him during his teenage days w.r.to his studies. He do loves and cares for us both. But, do have a more softer corner for me and confides more in me than my hubby. To me, from Imlie's POV, Aryan & Meethi is my hubby and Aparna is me. 🤣🤣🤣
