If they had made a prequel before MaAn story started, it would still make sense. I don't get this point , to release now, when audience is so invested in MaAn. For me it would icky to watch Anu romance Vannu in the prequel, as well as getting married to Anuj at same time in present. yuck yuck yuck.. thanks but no thanks..

Exactly I just memorized once he and baa were talking during early day. Pri if you remember that he used to like some other girl but moti baa selected Anu for him and his and baa lives become disaster.
