Okay so this is my first separate post on this forum. Before today, I didn't feel like creating something to discuss, but these two episodes have left me dumbstruck.
Aryan Singh Rathore❤️ I thought I loved him enough because my faith in him never wavered. But today I realized, I am more in love. Is that even possible? I guess it is.
So back to the topic. I know people are frustrated that imlie walked away only to return back because of her savior complex. I agree it does leave bad taste. But that's what her character is all about. Today itself the makers confirmed again. She is going to stay like that.
I loved each and every word that Aru's alter ego said about trauma, agency and choice. Everything except validating her suicidal temperament as something mahaan. 😕 maybe that's just my point of view. But her character is valorized as mahaan. The sacrificing goddess. I find her temperament suicidal. And no. It is not a common teenage trait. I guess people around her have always appreciated her for all the wrong things. Just like Aryan today.
Her removing the ornaments, her smile of relief while opening the gathbandhan. I does look odd. But I found it having significant. It's like she was back in the memory lane. Opening the first forced gathbandhan that day. Her walking away from her doomed fate that day. Free. And removing all the Shackles i.e. the past trauma. I believe it was all about that because we know she has already decided to marry Aryan. It would have been better if we were shown a parallel sequence with the flashbacks and all.
Ps. Am I the only one who finds Aparna's reaction to Aryan lifting imlie odd? Like did she always closed her eyes when she saw her son and imlie close. Ya Dil ka chor Bahar ata hai
