Okay so this is my first separate post on this forum. Before today, I didn't feel like creating something to discuss, but these two episodes have left me dumbstruck.

Aryan Singh Rathore❤️ I thought I loved him enough because my faith in him never wavered. But today I realized, I am more in love. Is that even possible? I guess it is.

So back to the topic. I know people are frustrated that imlie walked away only to return back because of her savior complex. I agree it does leave bad taste. But that's what her character is all about. Today itself the makers confirmed again. She is going to stay like that.

I loved each and every word that Aru's alter ego said about trauma, agency and choice. Everything except validating her suicidal temperament as something mahaan. 😕 maybe that's just my point of view. But her character is valorized as mahaan. The sacrificing goddess. I find her temperament suicidal. And no. It is not a common teenage trait. I guess people around her have always appreciated her for all the wrong things. Just like Aryan today.

Her removing the ornaments, her smile of relief while opening the gathbandhan. I does look odd. But I found it having significant. It's like she was back in the memory lane. Opening the first forced gathbandhan that day. Her walking away from her doomed fate that day. Free. And removing all the Shackles i.e. the past trauma. I believe it was all about that because we know she has already decided to marry Aryan. It would have been better if we were shown a parallel sequence with the flashbacks and all.

Ps. Am I the only one who finds Aparna's reaction to Aryan lifting imlie odd? Like did she always closed her eyes when she saw her son and imlie close. Ya Dil ka chor Bahar ata hai

Nice perspective and take on the positive side of Imlie's walking away.

Aparna, I don't actually know what she thinks or does. Narmada yes, the tears of sorry that Imlie has to go through this touched my heart. I would want a MIL like her. Arpi rightly asked, if you werent consent, they you went forward. She should be mad if you ask me at Imlie for not trusting her enough to share this detail. But probably on another line of thinking, ASR and Imlie have their own secrets and fights and badlas...no room for others.

if this is not dream sequence like some r saying n i dnt think it will b dream cos if BM is bringin BD it cnt be such long dream so i think it will b really imlie going n coming bck n when she come bck she's going to say tht only.. no one knws wht shart he said. only arpita knw cos she hear them fighting n arpi understood shart n all bt all other r not knowing. n arpi also know they both feel eo so she will not ask any Q when imlie come n tell it btwn him n me i wnt to go out to take breath n i came bck cos i wnt to. cos if u see narmada dint ask any Q she only tell aryan r u mad kahan jayegi imlie -it like she saying u both r married n u r asking her to leave how? where will she go she already part of us so i dnt think tmrw when she come anyone will hv any gut to tell her anything. BM will try but then ASR is standing there only

tmrw arpi will see what aryan mean when he told her "imlie wwapas aayegi didi" when she left R house n arpi will be happiest

imlie has only known conditional love from tripathis

they liked/loved her only for what she can do for them keeping her well being at stake at all times.

and yes she was appreciated for being wreck less

narratively i don't what they want to sell with this character of hers

yes clearly they've established ki imlie aisi hi hai self sacrificing

but slightly different opinion with regards to aryan

he has accepted her self sacrificing/destructive nature

and he wanted to change that but the way he was going about it was wrong. and also the timing was wrong, in a budding relationship such drastic step is destructive, as we saw.

i hope he will be able to tone down that behaviour in future in right way that is TLC

I am happy that she walked away. That was important for her to realise that "She can have a choice, she is free". The dialogue "Hum Azad hai" with tears of joy says it all. She was suffocating all through her marriage, both with AKT and the deal with ASR. She never realised that she can choose to be free and be alone. In my POV, freedom is the best gift that you can give to someone. Freedom to choose what they want in their life. Atleast for a few moments, let her be carefree and happy, be herself.
