There are plenty of dramas as well as movies where I have seen actors garner so many fans when they weren't even the hero. There are plenty of villains (Loki would be a great example) who garnered a fanbase. Even in ITV, I remember so many outfits of the villian (ladies) becoming so popular. Sometimes those are the characters we remember more if the actors know how to wring out emotion from every line and add all sorts of nuances.

Arpitas actor was praised for the weather track scene for her portrayal of being crushed !

Lot of shows are there where the second lead gets more recognition if they are good enough

I have seen GM's acting..him and FK were powerhouse in tashan scenes so you can feel that adi was wrong and ASR was right but MV - he looked so out of place and I couldn't picture him as AKT at all. Either they have to end AKT character or bring someone who can play as a villain.

yes u right even tht scene where arylie announce shaadi he ws so feeka the dialog tumne hamari imlie ws so powerless n ASR ka "shhhh" became more powerful. so it is also that actor must not be feeling satisfie with his work he must be knowing that it is not character forhim. GM anyway made standard n went so not all can meet, they should bring some who can play negative at least if not match GM. but atleast look like match to ASR. that journo write in such way that anyone can feel he has agenda n already hate the person. that why he like aKT character may be bird of same feather

I disagree because I think a wedding was necessary to move forward with Arylie equation as it would have become stagnant for a long time but I didn't like the way it was played out.

@Red: exactly, his redemption and wanting Imlie back should have been the reason for this marriage , again the writers failed to use his character. They could have made go a little crazy which may endup making Arylie faking as a couple and getting married. The whole revenge cause could have been brought after the marriage to create the misunderstanding.

I absolutely respect FK for taking up a role where he was unaware about the future of it just because he liked it and creating a separate fanbase. The result of his hardwork is showing onscreen and Offscreen.

Hayee this character has become jinxed now... another blow .... but this not getting ss was from pf and most importantly from this shaadi track.. he was finally improving in the tandav scene... I even sympathized with this version of adi somewhere... how cud the makers go wrong in recasting akt 2.0 when asr also they cast so perfectly

Yes. I read that they didn't tell him he was going to be the lead. He was supposed to be one of the main characters. So to pick a show in the middle without knowing how much long you have, how much screen space you'll be given, what exactly is your place and then giving it your best is really awesome. And generally from social media posts of sumbul and other people, he seems to be well liked by the team which I'm sure translates onscreen as well.

Oh the AKT - ASR face offs when Gash was AKT used to be another level. It was fun to watch their scenes. Though MV progressed in terms of acting he is still a far cry from that level.
