I agree with you totally.The pace of the story should be slow and steady. That Chingistan Naagin Shangri-La should have been there for at least 3-4 episodes before she was gonna be killed by Pratha or by her doppelganger Shalaka-who also became a reformed Naagin coincidentally.
While Prathas backstory needs a proper revelation the past could have been revealed in some later episodes perhaps with the focus shifted to as to how the jodi of Pratha and Mehak uncover the identity of that last 4 demons who escaped through the Helicopter last time.
Also Prathas character needs some changes in her personality-she needs to come across as more assertive and add more cunningness in her overall behaviour.
Leaving her Snake Skin was pretty much careless on her part why did she not retrieve the same till now?
Also Mehak was having a talk with that Inspector named Chaubey perhaps regarding that burnt Police Station.Still that Footage has not been destroyed by either Mehak or Pratha.
Shivangi and Shivanya were more brilliant with clear focus on planning their each and every move with respect to their enemies.They knew how to plot and carefully execute their every move.In fact Shivangi was more of a brilliant tactician and strategist in her own right.
Rishabh is always shown as comfotably relaxing within his own Mansion or having hard drinks since coming back from the Army-Camp with the excuse that he wants to focus on Pratha.What Solid leads has he got till now?
His character needs more brain-power.Rather than obsessing about Pratha always like Agastya he needs to go out of the Mansion and try to combat the spread of the virus.
Where is that pro-activeness of being an Army Officer?
Mehaks character has been good till now.She comes across as more sophisticated and has clear observation of the surroundings compared to Pratha.Her use of the Aarti-Fire to hunt down the Demon or discovering the real identity of that Inspector Ridhi by observing her was quite astute.
Mehak might not be more level-headed in keeping her anger in check when compared to her sibling but the loss and anger she felt when Pratha got hurt looked quite real on her face.The pain she felt for her sibling showed the true bond between the two Naagin siblings
Hope Mehak does not turn to the dark side and keeps her role as being the mentor/backup for her sibling Pratha.
The makers also need to avoid the unnecessary Love Traingle of Reem-Rishabh or Pratha.Both Ritiesh and Reem should be kept out of the Prarish scenes.
Specially Rishabh cannot be shown as romancing or having feelings for Reem if he's already being shown as married to Pratha.It damages the aura of his character and hurts his budding chemistry with Pratha.
In short there should be some maturity within his character.His constant suspicion of her after a point would become monotonous and after a while the viewers won't be able to resonate with their chemistry then.
In short if he comes across as somewhat considerate and supportive of her time and space then it will only enhance the chemistry further between the two.

About the Red Naagin- she's apparently THE source of this pandemic in the first place, the pandemic upon which this whole season is based. And they killed her off so easily just like that. I just can't digest it.. Don't know what else they're gonna show now that the source of the poison itself is gone. 😆
About Pratha's character- I feel that Pratha's personality being the way it is, that's a deliberate choice of CVs. Basically to hammer home the point that she was never going to take up the mantle of Sheshnaagin, saving the world was never going to be her responsibility. She's a soft-hearted, free-spirited simple naagin who was always doted on by her elder sister and whose sole desire is a happy family.
But yess, I agree that Pratha & Mahek's certain actions have been quite reckless in the past, and Pratha definitely needs to be more clever and cautious now that she's Sheshnaagin. And even I don't want Mahek to turn negative, the sisters are so fond of each other, it's adorable. ❤️
About Rishab's character - I'm getting the feeling that they're sort of sidelining these other characters. Their main focus is mostly on the latest Asur in town lol and Pratha-Mahek's storyline. They're hardly giving screen-space to any other character, even Sudha & Urvashi haven't done anything worthwhile since so many episodes.
Urvashi is doing nothing else other than doubting Pratha. Ritesh is only seen moping around. And they've dumbed-down Rishab's character too, he's only either suspicious or he's flirting with Pratha. That's why I feel that everyone's character growth (apart from our naagins) seems to be stuck at one point, even though the storyline is moving so fast.
Now coming to Agasyta, I feel like Fanaa is much more the story of Agastya rather than being the story of Paakhi or even #Aakhi. Maybe it's because of Agastya's shrewdness & his smarts or maybe it's because of Zain's acting.
But when we come to Naagin, the focus has generally been more on the lead naagin, her past & her revenge. Even in previous seasons, Naagin MLs have mostly been just the support system of the FL (I dunno much about S4 & S5, so only speaking from S1,2,3's experience). So I don't think they can give Rishab's character the cunningness or smarts that Agastya has. But yes, if he's an army-man he ought to be much more clever than how he is now. Otherwise ML ko civilian hi bana dete if he wasn't supposed to be doing much.. 😆
