The episode starts with Shanglira being stuck outside Shiva Temple. She hypnotizes Rishab’s family members and sends them inside the temple to get the poison-sack for her. Pratha notices it immediately and Mahek stops them both, successfully foiling Shanglira’s plan. Mahek warns Shanglira that she will never get her poison-sack back and her plan will never succeed.

Pratha and Rishab perform the Shiv-aarti. Pratha prays to Lord Shiva that Shanglira never gets to know about her poison-sack being hidden inside the garland adorning Lord Shiva’s idol. After aarti, the priest removes said garland from the idol’s neck and blesses Rishab while making him wear it around his neck. Shanglira sees this exchange and plots to steal the garland.

Daadi asks the priest whether there’s any naag or naagin in the temple so that she can make her offerings to Lord Shiva’s naag or naagin and then complete her pooja. Pratha hears them talking and decides to help Daadi in completing her pooja. She morphs into her naagin avatar, thereby leaving Rishab alone by himself.

Shanglira notices Rishab standing all alone and approaches him in the guise of an old lady. The old lady tells Rishab that she wishes to make an offering/‘chadhawa’ unto the God but she has no money to buy flowers. Rishab graciously removes the garland from his neck and requests the old lady to accept it. The lady immediately takes it and flees. Pratha returns, she’s shocked to see what Rishab has mistakenly done and vows to take the poison-sack back from Shanglira.

Pratha follows Shanglira back to the bank of Yamuna where Shanglira plans to throw her poison-sack into the river in order to poison it. Pratha turns into her Sheshnaagin avatar and takes ‘virat roop’ to fight her off. Shanglira is badly beaten up by the Sheshnaagin and immediately resorts to ask for mercy. She desperately pleads for her life and pretends to ask for forgiveness. Pratha snatches the poison-sack away from her and turns to leave.

The moment she turns away, Shanglira stabs her in the back. Pratha remembers Mahek telling her that an injury to her backbone, where the Naagmani is stored, could prove fatal to Pratha. She crumbles to the ground bleeding and her whole life flashes before her eyes, right from her childhood. Shanglira laughs and mocks Pratha and snatches the poison-sack back from her almost lifeless palm.

Pratha prays to Lord Shiva for help, calling upon him to stop Shanglira from poisoning the whole river. Lord Shiva listens to her prayers and gives Pratha the divine power. She reaches to grab Shanglira’s leg in order to stop her and Shanglira’s whole body instantly turns into a statue of stone. Mahek arrives and Pratha finally loses consciousness. Mahek is devastated to find her sister bleeding on the ground, almost lifeless. She’s furious and vows to destroy the entire universe if her little sister never opens her eyes again.

Mahek carries Pratha to the Professor’s place and he says that he has no clue how to revive the Sheshnaagin. Mahek angrily tells him off that he is the one who called upon the Sheshnaagin for help, he is the one who used Pratha for his mission and is now refusing to help her. Mahek tells him that if he wants to save his country then he has to save Pratha, they have to save the Sheshnaagin. She tells him that Pratha has used all her powers to turn Shanglira into a statue, but her powers can only restrict Shanglira until sunrise.

Professor tells her that in order to save Pratha, they need to kill Shanglira. He says that there’s only one person who can kill Shanglira, and that’s Shalaka who she was modelled after. Shalaka is doing penance to atone for her sins of past, for trying to kill their naagin and steal the Naagmani. She has been beyond the Neelgiri Mountains for years trying to earn Lord Shiva’s favour/‘vardaan’.

Mahek reaches the mountains and finds Shalaka. Shalaka finally opens her eyes and asks how she can help the Sheshnaagin. She tells Mahek that she’s ready to end this Shanglira so that she will finally be worthy to earn Lord Shiva’s blessing again. Back at the Professor’s place, he suggests Mahek to take Pratha’s form and go back to Gujral Mansion or else Rishab might get even more suspicious.

Rishab’s birthday party is yet to begin at Gujral Mansion but he’s worried because of Pratha being missing. He asks Inspector Vijay to look for her but right then Mahek arrives at the party in the guise of Pratha. She teases Rishab about missing his wife so much that he had to call the police. She stares at Inspector Vijay and smiles before leaving. Rishab sees Pratha smiling at the Inspector and gets jealous. Reem asks Rishab why he seems to be so affected by Pratha’s actions. He shouldn’t care if Pratha is eyeing some other guy if he doesn’t really feel anything for her. Rishab assures Reem that he only loves her and she shouldn’t worry about anything.

As the sunrise approaches, Shanglira gradually comes back to life and is no longer turned to stone. Shalaka finally finds her and threatens to end her. When Shanglira doesn’t budge, Shalaka resorts to bluffing and says that she wants to join hands with Shanglira. She says that Lord Shiva never gave her vardaan so why should she help the Sheshnaagin. She proposes to help Shanglira in her mission on the condition that she gets to have the Naagmani for herself. When Shanglira agrees to her proposal and softens a little, Shalaka discloses that she’s been bluffing and they fight.

Rishab follows Pratha to their room upstairs and asks her where she has been. Rishab offers her a drink but she refuses. He finishes the drink himself and starts removing his shirt, asking Pratha for a shoulder massage. Mahek, in the guise of Pratha, is scandalized and hesitantly begins with the massage. Rishab pulls her close and she’s startled. She runs away saying that Rishab is her Jeeju/brother-in-law and a perplexed Rishab is left alone in the room.

Shalaka bounds Shanglira in a holy circle of fire where her powers no longer work. She stabs Shanglira in her stomach with a trident/'trishul' and breaths a sigh of relief. Shalaka turns her back without realizing that Shanglira is still alive. Shanglira, profusely bleeding, drags herself to the river-bank, unbeknownst to Shalaka. She finally succeeds in throwing the poison-sack in the Yamuna River and breathes her last breath.

Back at the Professor’s residence, Pratha is suddenly revived. They all rejoice thinking that Shalaka must have triumphed over Shanglira. Shalaka arrives and tells them that Shanglira is dead, but she had succeeded in poisoning the entire river before dying. They’re all shocked and Professor tells them that the Churning of the Ocean/‘Sagar Manthan’ shall happen again! As Lord Shiva had to drink that poison to prevent it from contaminating the ocean, similarly the Sheshnaagin must step up now and drink this poison to stop it from tainting the Yamuna River.
