I respect Wali even more now, that he still takes care of his mom, and trying to save his sister from ruining her life. Also he didn't follow her when he saw her with that man.. it explains how gentleman he is , as he didn't run after her and fight with that man to save his izzat.. he went to ask his mom first.. why did she hide it.😕
I second this. Annie herself seemed foolishly invested in this showbiz. Nobody is stopping her from pursing her dreams but she's taking nobody's advice or is too keen on trying to prove herself to Wali. I presume Wali might be cognizant of the ill-intentions of the folks whom Annie was talking so proudly about and willing to break away from Wali's premise.

Honestly speaking, partial credit seems to go to media for hyping this industry in the bad limelight. There are pros & cons to every job sector. Seems like showbiz gets more directly affected in main stream media. It is an individual choice to go into this so yeah it does seem jarring. What Annie isn't properly comprehending is the repercussions associated with the individuals she seems to work in. I have a feeling because his mother chose to enter this industry and how rest was history, he doesn't want Annie to be falling in the same situation only for her to suffer from crap later onwards.I wonder why in dramas they always show showbiz in poor light. What Annie is seeing is Wali's words but not properly glancing why he saying what he is saying. She's free to achieve fame at her own peril but also needs to think about pros/cons of the industry.
