If she is not cured, then she will be suicidal. Have you seen that pyar tune kya kiya movie? If she is not treated then both Ram-Pri's life will be in danger.

For 20 years Ram screamed from the rooftops that he ONLY loved her, even after he stopped screaming it he continued to spend alone time with her, lean on her emotionally, and lie to his wife at her behest.

So it is not all delusional.

No. They have left NO option for her redemption. At least I could see Maitrayee's redemption. But Viper lost all grounds. Then also, Nandini will have her handwash with V. The reason is if they prove her mentally ill, then it is impossible that anyone will believe her if the Anjali track unfolds, if ever. Shubu needs to be saved and so is Nandini.

I know. When writing my piece, I saw her scenes with Ram and she advised Ram that money doesn't matter; love is important in marriage.

Exactly in the beginning she was actually a genuine person for few fleeting moments. That's why I liked this show bcz the characterization was different. Even nandini was somewhat a good mother to ram for few 15-20 episodes. But after that they started going down the same road of evil step mother and ex.

I agree. But Ram is Ram. She never gave him hope that one day she will leave Shashi and marry him. Ram willingly loved her (so-called) and it was Ram's choice. She also kinda fuelled that love. I agree with Adi. Watch the first few episodes again, you will see. She should have discouraged Ram and if she really wanted then Ram would have listened to her, definitely.

But when he wanted to move on, she made every attempt to break that alliance even before it started.

Absolutely! Their writing is so inconsistent that now even the actors are fed up with them.

The actors ar facing the backlash from the audience bcz the cvs are unable to keep up with their own writting.🤷

Vedika does not have a mental health issue, she is an immoral selfish woman who desires something she cannot have, tried all foul means, still failed, so she is angry and desperate. That is natural, even if disgusting, behaviour, but not mentally ill.

Secondly, as I posted before, I do not support this excessive vilifying of the ‘other woman’ or painting her as mentally ill, in order to whitewash the husband. I think we all agree Vedika would have been a zero factor if Ram had not glorified his infatuation, put that stupid no-love condition to Pri, hid the ex-matter from Pri, and continued to give Vedika mixed signals.

Vedika's character started very well. I had liked it initially but then they completely destroyed it. Last week the way she reacted as if she was disturbed. Her reaction on the phone to Neeraj didn't seem like plotting to get Mythri hear the conversation rather looked like she was obsessive of Ram.

When Priya suggested some help for Vedika I thought it was more like a support system to help women become independent..probably teach them some professional skill to start a career etc.

I think they have changed Vedika s character.

I agree on that. For so many yrs she let ram tell everyone that he loves a woman who is married to someone else and she felt proud about it.

She was ok until ram was doing vedu jaap. And when he decide to marry someone else she tried warning priya off.

But she was still grey.

Her character went completely down the drain when she got to know about shashi's bankruptcy.

Baaton ke bhoot isharon se nahin bhagte.

Just like Ram cannot expect his loving actions to cancel his verbal no-love condition to Pri, he cannot expect his distancing actions to cancel his 20 years of verbal & non-verbal expressions of undying love to Vedika. He has to sit her down and explain to her more convincingly that what he had for her was glorified infatuation which has faded away and he will never love her again or prioritise her or get together with her, Priya or no Priya. He has to tell this to Vedika one-to-one privately, not in the flow of a family quarrel.

Doesnt a gentleman owe this to a woman?
