Vedika's character started very well. I had liked it initially but then they completely destroyed it. Last week the way she reacted as if she was disturbed. When Priya suggested some help for Vedika I thought it was more like a support system to help women become independent..probably teach them some professional skill to start a career etc.

I think they have changed Vedika s character.

Yes, It was not to show Maitrayee. I remember at the end, even Neeraj told her NO when she was showing her obsessiveness (mostly to himself under the breath).

Just like Ram cannot expect his loving actions to cancel his verbal no-love condition to Pri, he cannot expect his distancing actions to cancel his 20 years of verbal & non-verbal expressions of undying love to Vedika. He has to sit her down and explain to her more convincingly that what he had for her was glorified infatuation which has faded away and he will never love her again or prioritise her or get together with her, Priya or no Priya. Absolutely!

Ram has to be VOCAL to both of them. When Viper proposed, he left the scene without even berating her for her audacity.

Same way, when Pri brought up the no-love condition he should have been vocal about it too. This is entirely the writers' fault. They are DRAGGING the plot unnecessarily so it can be stretched for some more weeks.

The IPL planning should have been done many many months beforehand. But I also cannot blame them. They were unsure whether the show will even sustain or be dumped.

Hopefully there should be closure to Vedika and Ram should talk one on one but here there is one more person now in equation that is Priya so Ram and Priya should talk to Vedika like mature adults but as this is Indian soap opera we wont get such scenes...leads themselves do not talk to each other and assume a lot and instead of communication there are monologue...the CVs will have to keep the tracks engaging otherwise it will be difficult going post IPL also now they know who their audience is so hopefully they keep the tracks engaging...let the lead fall in love and confess...ahem ahem could be later on as well...

Couldn't agree more!!!

99% of their problems could've been resolved with a frank conversation.

I understand that's not how soap operas work, but communication is necessary in some aspects of the plot.

Ram should've been more vocal about his intentions - both with Priya and with Vedika.
