She is talking about these things, when she was in the towel and Reem was in her room with Rishab she took a dig at both of them even though she didn't really mean. She did the same thing when she saw the lipstick mark and then she said, " If you want to have an affair you are free to do so but don't expect me to just sit back and watch the same"

Yup I wouldn't blame Reem here either. Firstly Ritesh gave her hopes like Rishabh still loves her so he doesn't know why he married Pratha, which is true by the way, and now Rishabh confirmed it too. I honestly feel so bad for the girl, atleast Ritesh ko sirf 2 din me pyar hua tha, and that too practically with a stranger, they weren't even proper friends. But Rishabh was Reem's best friend since childhood, and someone she loved. So loosing him like that and seeing him everyday with someone else might hurt her a lot already.

on top of that she is literally stuck in that house and can't even leave

Haan that's what is so confusing to me too na. See, it's clear that storywise they are 'supposed to' end up together. But how the writers are presenting their characters to us, it's raising doubts in my mind ki inn writers me khud kuch clarity hai bhi ya nahi..

Pehle Ritesh ko glorify kara. ML ko starting se hi FL par mistrust karaya. Then ML has genuine intense feelings for his Ex/Still Gf/Love of his life.

Now this intensity is what's problematic to me. Agar aese hi indifferent sa relationship dikhaya hota between Rishab Reem, or if Reem had been negative, toh it would've been much easier for general audience to accept that this story belong to ML & FL. But itne saare side-angles ghusakar all they're doing is just confusing the viewers as to whom this story belongs to.

Story belongs to Prarish only, and zarrori nahin hain that ex has to be evil all the time. We live in a country where a man and his ex literally get glorified and worshipped for being lovers even now so this Reem-Rishabh angle is nothing. Point is there is nothing wrong in loving someone or having feelings for them and here these two were together since their childhood, it will take a while to move on.
