True, Bea. Even if it went up just by .1, 2.5 is a decent number. Anyone expecting 3 and plus should know that it's not going to happen again because the core concept of the show of bigamy is now done and dusted. The AdiNi wedding was the do or die moment for AdiLie with the tadka of Aryan’s villiany and hence the 3 (.1/2). As much as people want to deny it, AdiLie and AdiNi by themselves were also floundering at not more than 2.5 on a an average around the time Aryan entered and after he entered with his brand of villiany, the numbers managed to move upward again.

In the AryLie wedding, these ghonchus are fighting amongst themselves and there isn't a strong external villian – Malini is missing, Aditya is too righteous to play the villian and Gudiya and BM are just playing silly games.

And I will say the same thing I said the other day on Blue's thread. ITV has so often showed us that hate is actually equal to love that people just prefer watching that over anything else. So many ITV MLs who we thought actually hated the FLs for the longest time were actually loving them and all it took was one great sacrifice on part of the FL or one NDE for them to realise their love. Then, be it Aditya for Imlie, or Shivaay for Anika from the PH's previous ones. And the fact that Shivaay and Aditya both are so loved by their fans goes on to say that love wrapped as hate sells like hot cakes – all in the name of MLs being flawed. I mean, the fact that a bigamy + cheating trope can get a 3 and plus on the TRP chart vs a push-pull that stops somewhere at 2 plus definitely tells us what works better with the audience.

But then, is it sad that Aryan can never match up to the likes of SSO or AKT? For their fans, maybe, because they find Aryan deplorable and incapable of getting TRPs. For Aryan’s fans, I think he's fine just the way he is because at the end of the day, it is taxing to be justifying a flawed character's motivations day in and day out instead of just enjoying the show for what it is meant to be – a source of entertainment. I'd rather enjoy character consistency for a few months and savour the show for a few months rather than have the show go on forever but not be able to recognize the character, who I fell in love with in the first place, anymore.

The fact is night bombs did wonders for online trp which is 21.0 and on 13th spot.

And trp aunties are liking the shaadi track hence it increased and we are back to 3rd position.
