The thing is ram gets easily manipulated when you play on his guilt in a defensive manner but vedika was not being defensive, she was being suggestive.

Ram has started to feel uncomfortable around vedika, he feels detached from her emotionally now. Vedika is just a past for him now, it's just both ram and vedika needs to accept that.

Ram has accepted his feelings for Priya but he never dealt with his feelings for vedika. Everytime those feelings were discussed his answers were always dodgy saying it doesn't matter anymore but the fact is he doesn't know about it anymore, there is no clearity and surity about vedika in his life.

He doesn't know what category to put her in. If she is only a friend or an ex.

He was already shook from priya direct rejection to a future of love, and vedika questioning his love like that confused him.

I think the question ram must be asking himself after Vedika's proposal is " Is he ready for another relationship of unrequited love?" Vedika had put this into his head, his silence could be about this also. Him contemplating if he will be ok for a lifetime of priya's friendship only, where she might never reciprocate his love, where she will be another family member who is unable to love him, where his marriage will be in name only for the rest of his life. To live with a person under the sane roof, sharing the same bed and not being able to love them or receive their love is a big commitment. And he needs to be 100% sure of his answer before he talks to Priya again.

He assumed just bcz he had fallen in love, priya must have too. He is being faced with reality that there is a very small possibility that Priya might never, no matter what he does, will never love him. And he will have to respect her that as this was his CONDITION!

Yes. Condition: He only needs to ERASE the past and once he breaks the ILLUSION, the 'Condition' is automatically DISSOLVED.

I rewatched the scenes so many times, to figure out. It was abrupt but the FBs were the cues. It was ACTUALLY a wonderful episode. Much Needed.

Agree with your POV. I never once felt he was contemplating a reunion with V. He was shocked hearing V talk about second chances. He was questioning about the second chance and how it will impact him. Atleast his thoughts ended with Priya and what she wants. That’s good progression. My only disappointment is how he lets people freely talk and advise on his relationship with Priya. This is downright insulting! Since Ram doesn’t react to it,people including V take it as freepass to do it.

I agree with you and there was one point where I was worked up… looking at how he was still hearing and did not counter her… and I think this is the point beyond which every thing will change… not sure why I feel he will clearly take a stand and define the boundary… today also he did, he was curt and almost out her off saying she did not want to discuss about Priya… but not as strong as it should have been…

It will change for sure… and today was the turning point where he would break from the shackles of his past… see all that was needed was a proposed closure and a closure is different to each person… like in jab we met the closure was as simple as flushing the ex’s picture…but there has to be something that causes the trigger for the heart and brain to be in sync and register it… this is where all internal conflicts cease to exist…

Sorry, if I am sermonising…hope it turns out to be the way I am sensing..

Exactly also I heard in a video that Ram might be asking vedika to apologise to Priya for something she might say.

She has made a blunder today with ram by coming in the open. Abhi tak he was sympathetic with her, but now after knowing what is in vedika's head he will never allow vedika and priya in the same space in his lifetime. He has too much integrity for that.

Also vedika doesn't know that Ram is not what he shows there is a depth to him which is only seen by few like adi and priya.

My biggest disappointment is Sarah!! She knows that Priya is falling for Ram and vice versa. What she’s doing is giving useless advises without touching any of this!! Can somebody put a tape on her mouth next time she tries to talk nonsense!!
