Haha! Our knowledge of parliamentary sessions is restricted to viral clips and news headlines featuring the dramatic walkouts by the usual suspects.

also , parliament discussed it after release. Promotion before release is more important. After release it doesn't matter.

Kp exodus is a very touchy and important subject that needed to be told.

No matter what your tiny brain thinks, this movie is going to be a hit and you can cry all u want in all threads

Oh so it’s being discussed in Parliament as well. What’s the plan to restore the KPs? Parliament sessions are not movie review threads if the action plan is not provided to solve the issue. 😳

What an ignorant comment! what does that even mean.😳

Parliamentary sessions are not conducted for the TRPs. that they have to wait for the aam janta to ‘hook’ on to them 🤔. Media follows the events closely and makes headlines out of them, which is the primary source of information for the ‘aam janta’ about the proceedings there. A movie being discussed there is a huge thing and I hope I don’t have to tell you how the PR of the movie will take advantage, rightfully so, of such a thing.

What do you think the WOM is doing? After release promotion? Promotion is promotion, whether paid, preplanned, organic, prerelease, post release- it’s needed as long as a movie is in the theaters so that more eyeballs can be grabbed.

If you calmed down for a bit instead of bouncing off the walls like that and jumping at random people’s throats, you could’ve realized this simple point even in your brainless state.

promotions before release are more important because people get to know a movie is being screened soon. Post release it largely depends on reviews. Movie was screened pre-release for KPs so they know and the people they are acquainted with know about it. But people across India got to know about the movie only after it released and few news channels spoke about it.

There are still very limited and fluctuated shows in my place and demand is huge after people watched it last weekend.

The Kashmir Files Has Extraordinary Second Friday - 2nd To Bahubali - The Conclusion

Saturday 19 March 2022 11.00 ISTBox Office India Trade Network

The Kashmir Files had an extraordinary second Friday as it recorded the the second highest second Friday ever after Bahubali - The Conclusion. This second Friday has come with the competition of Bachchhan Pandey and if that was not there it was sure to be the highest second Friday in history.

Bahubali - The Conclusion had recorded a near 20 crore nett second Friday with no major competition on its second Friday and the Kashmir Files has collected 19-19.50 crore nett apprx with the competition of a big film like Bachchhan Pandey.

The Kashmir Files is continuing is insane run and its still impossible to stay where it will end up. The eight day was the best day in its run so far and it could still be going higher over the weeeknd. As mentioned before there is only one comparison to this film in history and that is Jai Santoshi Maa (1975) which was another very small film which ran riot at the box office putting up huge grosses for the time.

Thie similarities do not end at just being small films but both also catered heavily to the Hindu community which forms the bulk of the film going audience in India. Jai Santoshi Maa (1975) was a mythological and did through religion while The Kashmir Files is more of a dark drama and probably does through shock value and political undertones.

The film now stands at around 125 crore nett in eight days and the 200 crore nett mark is there for the taking by the end of week two. In two weeks it will become the highest grossing film post the pandemic and there will be plenty of gas left in the tank. The collections of The Kashmir Files till date are as follows.

Friday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,25,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 15,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 15,00,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 17,75,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 18,25,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 18,00,00,000 apprx

First Week - 95,50,00,000 apprx

Friday - 19,25,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,24,75,00,000 apprx

The Kashmir Files Runs Riot On Second Monday - Bachchhan Pandey Down

Monday 21 March 2022 13.30 ISTBox Office India Trade Network

The Kashmir Files is running riot on its second Monday as many places record numbers similar to the first Monday which collected 15 crore nett. The collections look to be around 50% down from Sunday which should mean a 13-14 crore nett second Monday. Its difficult to compare to the Friday as it was Holi and most multiplexes were shut in the morning. .

This means the film should stay in double digits through the weekdays and maybe close with an insane second week of 120 crore nett. It will be the second highest second week in history after Bahubali - The Conclusion and the third to go above 100 crore nett.

The collections of Bachchhan Pandey have dropped heavily on Monday with collections down around 65-70% from Sunday. Again here Friday was generally shut in the morning so you can only compare with the Sunday and not the Friday. The low weekend meant the film was not going anywhere are Monday has sealed its fate. It could be a 3-4 crore nett Monday depending on how the later shows play out.

Anything above 10crr should be great and will push closer to overall 300crrs. However 300 will also depend on RRR. How many screens/shows TKF can hold and how good/bad RRR is.
