What I am about to say might offend some of you and if it does I am sorry, but it is entirely my opinion...
Imlie the mahaan 20 year old is not just a gadhi, an idiot, and an emotional fool (all the terms Aryan has coined for her and not mine, but I agree with him completely), that aside I would like to put it out there I also think Imlie is without a ounce of doubt a hypocrite..
Yes, she indeed is a hypocrite.. It is like rules uske liye kuch aur, and auron ke liye kuch aur hii.. And lemme explain why I am calling Imlie a hypocrite - In the past, it was the same girl, same Imlie who when made to stand in the katgara of questions, when she was expected to give explanations and answers to Aditya, she walked out on him... And I am not saying she was wrong there...
Cut to the Imlie we have now with Aryan - now she wants Aryan to explain his actions. She wants to know the why's of why he is doing and what he is doing.. Isn't this unfair on her part.. In her previous relationship she wanted her husband's trust, so here why is she not trusting Aryan, Aryan toh is her 50-50 partner na... From the time she has known him hasn't he just pushed her forward, taught her to fight back, had her back, when she can expect others (AKT) to trust her explicitly without giving answers, then why is she seeking answers from Aryan...Why cannot she trust Aryan, itna toh she knows Aryan...
Imlie's attitude is really getting on my nerves.. What's with this tum humka dhoka diye nonsense, she always tells Aryan..Someone please tell Imlie to look in the mirror closely, and reflect on what she is doing.. The wedding is happening because she said yes to it, she said yes in order to save AKT, it was her choice, and it is not like Aryan has put a gun on her forehead and dragging her to the mandap.. Ab kya hai na yeh roz roz ka Imlie taunting Aryan is getting to me..If she wants she can walk away, but she is choosing to stay....It is like Imlie wants to hold the plate of cake (save Aditya), and eat it too (not marry Aryan {consciously, but subconsciously she does})..Everything cannot be as she wants na...She made her choice, she made her bed, now she has to lie on it, it is as simple as that..
It is like she wants others to have complete bharosa on her, despite being silent, and when she does that it is for her self respect according to her, but on the other hand when Aryan stays quiet, not revealing the real reasons for marrying her, Aryan is a villain, wowwwwww..Just wowwwwww....This is heights of hypocrisy...
And last but not the least I would like to say, Aryan knows he is in the right and that is why he is in no way answerable..And Imlie on the other hand, is being a hypocrite, for her things and situations change according to her convenience, jahan when she is asked questions she walks out head held high, but when she asks Aryan questions making him stand in the katgara and he doesn't reply, he is the villain of her life... Aise mein agar main Imlie ko hypocrite na kahun, toh kya kahun..
Sorry, for this rant post but Imlie's behavior and words today really irritated me..And her tantrum with the mehendi ritual really set me off!!
