Speaking from the story and the maker’s perspective as well .. you are on your way to potraying Aryan and Imlie as a couple .. you are getting them married.. how do you plan to show them as a romantic pair if you do not show attraction from both the man and the woman’s perspective.. you have to .. otherwise u willl end up showing a platonic relationship, which is insane ..
it ll be very easy to show physical attraction at Aryan’s end .. you ll hv to do that from Imlie’s point of view too.. do it aesthetically.. start from this holi scene..start with attraction.. love can come later .. she doesn’t hv to be in love with him to find him attractive.. to admire him like a normal healthy woman ..to feel flustered, even if its just a little right now..you don’t hv to show anything outrageous.. she already finds him handsome as a matter of fact, just add a touch of female awareness originating from the fact that she is in close proximity with this insanely attractive man , who is now her fiancée as well … show it briefly, but show it .. u need that to move them forward as a couple.. now is the perfect opportunity.. take it please..

Female race has equal rights in admiring god’s creation as much as our male counterparts!
But mostly in society and by social structure if a women openly express her desires/ attraction for another man (who is not her husband) she is termed too forward / shameless , don’t behave like men do ( I mean why do they get a free pass here ? )
If a man can find a woman beautiful and express it why can’t a woman?
In fact several studies have shown that men are more attractive when desired by other women - the man is given an “attractiveness boost” !!! 😊
Like others have already mentioned it here , they are getting into relationship and the bond between them is certainly been evolving, it’s about time the stage of attraction takes center stage , which will certainly catapult the story !
Two people who are young, available and don’t seem to mind to encroach each other’s personal space the whole time there is definitely a level of comfort and attraction as is . So it’s natural to expect some reaction to this proximity!
The makers have a history of magic in their hands with this department. And between sizzling chemistry these two have , they will certainly lite up viewers screens !

Yes they deserve all the appreciation specially after 3*40 mins episodes non stop shooting in those suffocating clothes in summer... Uff! It's a hard work and we take mins to pass comments and judgements 😔

And I COMPLETELY agree Lisa. Female sexuality can be aesthically shown. Imlie is 19, not DEAD. Any sane 19 year old would find Aryan Singh Rathore, her CLASSY fiancee, good looking. It would not hurt one bit to show that awakening, that awareness of physical attraction to a person she has shared so many deep moments with!
Keeping in mind ST is a young'un, obviously some things can and cannot be shown. But the lady is a POWERHOUSE of talent and I'm sure the writers can come up with something where umar ka lihaaz ho, and ST ki comfort bhi while moving the "attraction" phase forward.
And then, we will all forget to breath.
Honestly, even asexual people are able to recognise and appreciate classic good looks, even Imlie has recognised he's bootiful so it wouldn't make sense for her not to be affected by him. So👏🏽get👏🏽on👏🏽with👏🏽it👏🏽
As long as ST is comfortable and her age and boundaries are being respected, it should be all cool beans.
The Imlie characters does need to develop and progress though, right now she's stuck between regressing and stagnating which leaves her feeling very flat to the audience, we're unable to connect and sympathise with the character at all.
ST and FK are very talented powerhouse with a sizzling chemistry but at the end of the day, a well written powerful script is what they need to make them legends. The actors can only do so much if they're not backed up by the right development and writing.
I KNOW. And I can think of only one other pairing that has ever had that effect on ITV (I’ve mentioned this before in another thread). We love a healthy portrayal of male and female sexuality on Television, I hope somewhere down the line the show explores it, if not today or in the Holi episode. Because by god, will the actors knock it out of the park with their sizzling chemistry !
We love ourselves a confident ML who is confident of his body (as he should be)
Please more representations of exploration of attraction from Imlie's point of view, her confusion over it since she is still a young adult and I would love a monologue or scene, where she understands that her feelings towards him doesn't affect her body's feelings towards Aryan and vice versa. Getting attracted to someone doesn't mean that you will have to love the person right then, and love & attraction can run on different pages. It would definitely serve out as a good message since a lot of young girls feel guilty towards the reactions of their bodies which they have no control over.
I am all for healthy outlet of one's sexuality and no feeling guilty over it.
So, if we are getting a scene like shirtless ASR. I hope they would also direct it from the female perspective since it is a female protagonist oriented show and the majority fanbase are females. Would love to see how Imlie deals with this in-the-face attraction she shares with Aryan.
Would obviously like to thank the writers, FK and ST for working so hard and (mostly) providing us with good content. They didn't even a catch a break for the night so methinks they deserve ALL THE APPRECIATION in this world.
Special thanks to FK, for reviving the show that is Imlie. His aura, charisma, attitude and everything in between- is remarkable. No wonder, he gathered such a strong fan base in such a short period of time. His portrayal of ASR just screams expensive, classy and sexy from every front.
On that note, really really glad that ST and FK are getting along so well *puts a much needed kaala teeka*. Due to their blossoming friendship, we are getting blessed by all the SuMaan content and BTS. They are definitely the cutest dorks- just giving off typical best friend vibes who reveal each other's secrets (Ahem, Baby Lips- We see you), fight with each other and sing their hearts out. Also, did I mention the dancing ? What phenomenal dancers both are ❤️
So, this was it. My token of appreciation. AryLie are definitely adding the spice the show lacked before and for that, I am grateful. Feel free to add your thoughts and tokens :)
