Abhimanyu the biggest jerk and Aarohi is not evil!

Let's start with the story.. abhimanyu, akshara, aarohi meet on a trip .

Abhimanyu falls for akshara because she is a pleasing personality and wants her in his life. He has everything fame, money,success, all he craves for is someone who can give unconditional love..he then gets obsessed with akshara and thinks he has the RIGHT on akshara's life and akshara is his without any direct conversation.. it is intimidating to say the least

Akshara's feelings are not clear.. it seems she has only developed a liking towards this guy she met on the trip and we don't have any serious monologues from her side to show she is in deep love with abhimanyu, even after returning from the trip she just casually remembers him, she isn't so interested in knowing more about him as she doesn't care to get his number..she is shown to be happy spending time with her sister and family as she thought she will have to leave the house because of Aarohi .

Aarohi is clear since day 1 that she wants abhimanyu ... I don't know how people think wanting a top doctor to be your husband by a girl who has centred her entire life around career is wrong...for aarohi her career means a lot and it's normal for career oriented girls to want ideal partners too with same calibre..aarohi saw there is a better doctor than her and she wants to be with him as she knows it will be of great help to her career.. she likes his looks, personality, everything ... That's who aarohi is and maximum girls are like that who want partners earning in the same capacity and with same professional qualifications.

Akshara rejects Abhimanyu...abhimanyu is still stuck on akshara even after her no and it's fair to keep that hope when she comes to celebrate his birthday ,save in molestation drama but after being engaged to someone else , it is absolutely wrong to persuade akshara ... No matter what's the justification, it's wrong..

Abhimanyu claims deep, undying love for akshara ( god knows how what's the basis because he thought Aarohi saved him from fire and akshara left him dieing) yet he goes ahead and proposes marriage to the same sister of the girl for whom he thinks that we are made for each other.. if it was tht strong a love, why didn't he choose waiting for akshara, immediately after molestation drama happened in which akshara saved him in front of his face , he started considering his mom's words to move on with Aarohi and actually started considering aarohi as life partner and his mom's words that we should spend life with someone who loves us and not whom we love, even in front of goenkas he said his marriage with Aarohi will have everything an arrange marriage does but his behaviour was completely opposite.. he was not respecting his marriage with Aarohi... He was behaving as if marriage is guda gudi ka khel, like we used to marry our dolls in childhood just for the sake of it..

People will said he did it for his mother is the lamest excuse...his mother wanted his happiness, not marriage and i am sure if he explained his mother that he doesn't want to be in a marriage where he can't love the other person just like sir couldn't love you and how it is basic knowledge that no marriage is much better than an unhappy one... And he doesn't have the right to play with Aarohi's life as marriage raises a lot of expectations and marriage is not just about love between two partners..

All he did was using aarohi .. he never wanted to marry because he thought she saved him, he wanted to marry her after hearing Akshara's words as how aarohi is the right match, so to take revenge he decided to use aarohi

Akshara literally went on fire for him , yet all he gave her is pain and suffering...what did he give her in return? Being hitched to her own sister? Just because he found out the truth on marriage day people's reactions are different ..what if he actually did get married? 😆 then what would you guys say about abhimanyu and abhira's eternal love..

People said he was being loyal to akshara even after being married to Aarohi...that's the most weird mentality of people in forum here... You should be loyal to the person you are marrying and not to a girl whom you met on a 3 day trip and you are obsessed with...

Yes aarohi stopped akshara from moving ahead in relationship with abhimanyu but do you think she really could have done anything if akshara showed interest in abhimanyu? As an elder sister, akshara shouldn't have fallen for Aarohi's immaturity when Aarohi told her I'll move ahead now with abhimanyu and you will step back, shouldn't akshara have given back to aarohi at that time that this is absolutely wrong.. you asked me to sacrifice my love by saying I'll leave the family forever if this happens and now you are deciding to marry my lover on my credits...

That should have been enough for akshara to understand her sister is immature, mean and being stubborn to get what she wants anyhow....yet she allowed aarohi to get abhimanyu

Aarohi was being absolutely selfish here but i don't think she has much fault in breaking off the marriage as much as abhimnayu does... Abhimanyu is the culprit!

Abhimanyu and manjari herself gave her the credits.. she wanted abhimnayu so she stayed mum when things were working in her favour..

Puja drama and molestation drama are really trivial things.... Abhimanyu thanked her for all this, aarohi is not going to say on his face no I didn't pray for your mother, she wanted abhimanyu to believe yes she cares..

Even the fire incident of past is really trivial for marriage to break on wedding day when mandap is set.. i don't think it's that big a deal to say suddenly on mandap that akshara saved me from fire ,not aarohi

It was not wrong for abhimanyu to back off but he should have realised he has done absolutely wrong with Aarohi as he never was loyal to her and suddenly jilting her, making her face so much humiliation, even tho he was using aarohi for maa ki khushi...

And in real world, a guy like abhimanyu would be given a hard time by the bride's family he jilted and no family will marry off the other daughter to the same guy

Now it's natural for aarohi to have all those emotions to see all those functions happening, if abhimanyu can be upset about Akshara's rejections, aarohi too has the right to feel bad about what she is feeling has..

Also for not everyone idea of love is same.. idea of love of Aarohi was a dream partner like abhimnayu and that got broken.. that's Aarohi's mindset and she is not wrong from her mindset as every individual is different.. in real life too a doctor is considered a better match to a doctor than a non doctor and that's how aarohi was thinking too... Suddenly having too watch the same functions with not even akshara having one proper conversation with Aarohi explaining her how she wouldn't be happy in the marriage with abhimanyu as marriage needs love too..

Aarohi is just an immature character, she is not vamp of evil like people make her in the forum.. It's abhimanyu who is oversmart with no regard to society, other people except for akshu and maa....he can go to any extent to get what he wants...

Akshara has done everything for this guy- she saved him on multiple occasions, she beared his torture of marriage with other sister, she is not wrong in rejecting a guy for her own reasons.. yet abhimanyu thinks akshara was wrong in choosing her family and this aarohi marriage fiasco happened because of her and he is constantly putting akshara in situations where she has to choose between family and him... He says he has done a lot for akshara to Manish, he said he has fought a lot for their love... what has he done ? His fighting for love depended on the sole proof of fire incident... He was almost married to Akshara's sister and then claims such big things that he has done a lot for akshara ... He has only tortured Akshara's sister , made bade papa land in hospital by screaming his lungs out goenka house...

We have seen how aarohi was crying after bade papa got saved, she was sad when akshara had an accident which proves she too is human who loves her family.. she is just a career oriented girl who needs to see things in life with right perspective, she is in the wrong path... Someone needs to correct her that not everything is about being no.1 and she should allow genuine love in her life.. but i don't see her as an evil person or a vamp.. i know many such people like aarohi and they are still likable because of their other traits... She is a very realistic character... abhimanyu is Kabir Singh part 2 minus the one night stand

Aarohi thinks akshara is responsible for sirat mother's death is the lamest plot of the story.. but still in such a situation it's her emotional trauma to think that way as sirat was running towards akshara and she fell down... Even naira had misunderstanding that akshara wanted to get her arrested and she stayed away from home for 7 years and after she came back she used to behave very rudely with akshara... But since naira was the lead people liked her but here akshara is the lead so people hate aarohi..

I don't know why people say abhimanyu is the idealistic male lead when he does nothing special than respecting his wife and caring for her as any husband should and does..what's so unique about him?

I won't talk about aarohi..because she's confusing as hell..sometimes she's plotting and sometimes she's a victim

But yeah abhimanyu did a grave mistake when he proposed marriage to aarohi..

Marriage is not a joke and it is very wrong to propose a loveless marriage to any girl..aarohi should've rejected that proposal..

But she had hopes that abhimanyu will forget akshara and fall for her..but it didn't happen..

The main reason for abhimanyu to not be loyal to aarohi is because he never even tried..abhimanyu never tried to consider aarohi after proposing her..

He was busy running after akshara and persuading her ..he wanted akshara to understand his love for her and was hoping that akshara will stop his marriage to aarohi..abhimanyu couldn't even tolerate that intern when he tried to get close to akshara because he was jealous and wanted akshara for himself..

Abhimanyu never took aarohi on a date or tried to have conversation with her ..because its very important for two people to talk about their feelings when they're getting married to each other..

But abhimanyu never gave aarohi any chance ..he didn't even allowed her to come close to him or make a place for herself in his heart ..he constantly ignored her throughout the wedding rituals..that's why it looks very bad..

If abhimanyu would've actually tried to move on from akshara and give aarohi a chance then he would not have been accused of using her..

I don't consider any of these characters idealistic

However, each of the characters have traits that are ideal. If we like a character we focus on the positive and although we may acknowledge their bad traits we are more forgiving and see them as a whole person.

A real person is neither all good nor all bad. We do things both good and bad. However, our thinking...what we put value on, what we are taught, what society forces us to believe, what we discover and believe on our own determines if we will tolerate someone, like someone, dislike someone, or hate someone.

For some Abhi is a jerk for his bad traits that they would not tolerate

For some Abhi is ideal in the way he loves and cares for those he consider his family - Akshara, Manjari, and Neil

For some we see that he is both good and bad. He will be impulsive, have a bad temper, say things he should not. But yet he still has his good points too. He is respectful to those who are respectful to him as well. He is practical in his thinking. When he loves he loves wholeheartedly.

For some Arohi is a jerk due to her gaslighting nature, the way she has emotionally blackmailed her sister her entire life, in the way she has behaved with her sister believing she never gets anything

For some Arohi has good traits as she has worked hard in her life to become a doctor, she has ambition

For some she is both good and bad. Deep down inside she does care for her sister but is not able to overcome her mother's death and other personal set backs that make her act petty and selfish

I understand that again this is post to spark debate to defend a character who is probably being dragged through the mud again.

However, I would like to challenge us to post discussions about a character without having to drag another character in and put them down just to highlight why the character may be better than another. We are seeing the same argument over and over again in the forums.

Nothing is going to change.

We have one side who likes Abhi

This is like when parents and relatives start talking about some neighbor's kid who has great grades and is going to some expensive private school and has a good job lined up, etc and they look at you like you haven't done anything redeeming when you have good grades and are going to college.

I do not hate arohi but she is equally responsible for everything how can expect abhi to trust her when she has broken his trust multiple times.

1. During first tilak she knew that message was not for her but still kept mum. Even she created the delusion that abhi likes her not akshu.

2. She herself joined birla hospital back keeping evil intention to get abhi back but infront of akshara she kind of mentioned if akshu proceeds with her realtion she might not be able to survive. Which is the major reason why akshu rejected abhi.

3. She took all credits for the things that she did not do. She even knew abhi is thinking all this and proceeding with this marriage. Akshu's dialogue in one of the episode where she says your relation is built on lies you will regret in future also indicates she knew everything.

4 . Abhi even after telling her that he only loves akshu even after she sees them together and even getting lots of messages from the kaaynath.. she still chose to marry abhi in her greed to become number 1.

5. If arohi would have not left for her md akshu would have sacrificed herself for this marriage but arohi wanted both md and marriage. Which opened akshara's eyes that arohi is just treating abhi as a trophy nothing else.

6. If the wedding was not broken during wedding day what would have happend to lives of 3 ppl. Akshu would have left udaipur by now and abhi would have been into depression and arohi would still stay in her illusion and then she would have started regretting.

Why abhi should trust or respect her. ?

1. For ruining his reputation infront of goenkas and birlas? For making him look like loafer where as he was clear from the beginning that he only loves akshu? He was a famous cardiac surgeon.

2. For informing manish about them with eventually took him to death bed? And putting abhi behind bars?

3. For ruining tilak purposefully? ( Note abhi spoke to her post that)

In the whole world she only had abhi's cabin to stand?

I agree abhi over reacted a bit.. and he did not give her a chance to speak but atleast he is speaking to her. If anyone else would have been in that place they might not even give a second thoughts and would have restricted his spouse to keep any relation with them.

Considering all this.. i am not saying abhira are saints but they are also reasponsible for all the mess but arohi was the trigger.

I really want makers to show arohi doing good deeds than bringing this depression drama

Here are my points as you mentioned career oriented girls.

I myself is career oriented women and i also prefer someone who is near to my level or I prefer to stay un married if don't get such men. But i wont plot and ruin some one's relation just because i want some one of my calibre come on career oriented womens prefer to stay unmarried if they don't get the men of their choice we have so many examples to see. Please don't compare career oriented women with arohi. It's request. They put their heart and soul into their work to become successfull. The only reason why they want suitable parnter is because after marriage husband should understand that she is not a family person but here arohi's only intention was to become number 1.

I would say one thing. None of the characters are perfect. All have their own set of flaws. Abhimanyu, Akshara, Aarohi, all 3 of them have good as well as bad qualities just like all humans have. But Abhimanyu and Aarohi are discussed more because of their grey shades than Akshara.

I would say that none of these characters are doodh ke dhule hue. Sabke apne apne problems hain kamiyan hain and that's what makes these characters so interesting.

I just hope the makers improve Akshara's characterization too and show some grey shades in her too. Phir aur mazaa aayega. Yeh sugar se bhi sweet, way too good wali Akshara typical itv fl lagti hai. The writers should add some masala in her for her to look like a human and not an angel.

Even in real case scenario for eg if a career oriented women gets rejected by some one who was superior to her. They might feel bad initially but they will not sit and cry rather they will take it as a challenge and try to beat the one in terms of qualification who rejected them so that they wont be superior any more 😆 that's how their brains are wired. But arohi rather than focussing on her career and beating abhi as a doctor she still behind ruining akshu's marriage and trying to win the competition who is suitable for abhi 😁 i really like her being a doctor and not leaving her internship for personal matters but i can not justify these things as its not normal behaviour 😆
