He knows her inclination is to fight for justice and for the right. She has herself said so that if something wrong is happening then she cannot keep quiet. Baaki ka samajh lo dono ka soulmate connection ho chuka hai so he is sure that this is what Meety would want too.

P.s: not defending makers again... just filling in with my own logic for my own sake😆
