Yes it has IF Monday was a big holiday.

It's weird because the movie is fucking brutal and depressing. The climax is disturbing.

Have masses ever accepted such a movie to this level? Although Bachchan Pandey and RRR are going to give tough competition to this film.

It's a remake of Tamil film Jigarthanda which was acclaimed and have multiple remakes. If the makers of Bachchan Pandey haven't changed much or anything from the original then this movie would also work.

Yes it usually does for small budget films having positive WOM publicity. Both Queen and Kahaani had bigger Mondays than their Fridays. The producers of this film knew what they were doing given the sensitive nature of the topic. Only if the director had kept calm and let his work do the talking than controversies Look at the footfalls now, it's crazy. All shows around me are houseful even on a weekday!

For Friday and Sat some small films with good WOM yes. However not sure about Monday being better or equal to Sunday. Even if one or two movies might had done it would have been on low levels. Not something like 10-15crr+ single day business.

This is just on another level

It is doing extremely well

It's good that Kashmir files is doing well. Sometimes we need to show the truth to the people who were acting blind to all the time.
