desperately want this form of a drama, and it is possible at this point, especially because aryan is going to have to spend even more time with the tripathis as the wedding marches on. so maybe he'll realize his hatred for aditya is no match for how important the tripathis are to imlie and that she's right, they're not that bad (i think they're bad, i just think the show might take this direction where aryan truly sees himself as the damaad of Meethi AND the tripathis). BUT i don't think the show makers have this much sense to have this nuanced story, and even if they did i don't think Imlie would decide to marry aryan at the end of this, even if he does confess/etc. - and now typing all this out has made me worry that aryan's gonna get a conscience and then the wedding won't even actually happen :((((((((

OR

He may re-iterate that he wasn't using her is skeptical but if he does then Imlie will have second thoughts.

+ as in the promo he will give her the choice to decide on whether to marry him

3) Aru in anger & frustration will give her the video & tell her off that he never used her & that she is free to go.

I guess I’ll be taking a break for now. This episode really didn’t sit well with me. Imlie cares for tripathis above all ab bhi and her aditya sir concern creeps me out. I mean, I have loved even the twisted love stories where both are flawed but equal attraction is still there, their attentions each other. They could have made his reasoning better if tripathis or akt were actually guilty still and not so whitewashed like today and imlie couldn’t see it. And was actually uncomfortable somewhat at their requests but thought for duty she has to be there for them. ‘For her own good’ would make some sense then. But yahaan girlie loves and is happy in their servitude and actually thinks aryan is trying to separate her from the best people ever and even Ts ka best whitewash horaha 🥴 sorry but aise mein if aryan likes her and forces her to marry and is blushing and all when she is in discomfort and ooper se doesn’t even own up to it but goes this is all for your own good and I am making a sacrifice you will never know I just ???? tbh even hate to love stories are better to watch than whatever is happening here

Aaj ke episode mein I felt like I was watching a very different character and a different couple dynamics than the ones I had fallen for. I have no idea what is happening anymore, the pagdandiya arylie are not these ones. Imlie I can’t stand and even aryan is on the kinda hypocrite wala path now. There is zero progression in this couple right now, it’s so sad to think what could have been a good second chance story they turned into the girls will stick herself like superglue to abusive ex and fam until a guy who takes interest in her forces her away from them. And she hates it, does not want it at all.. well ok. But please don’t try to present it as some mahaan sacrifice when he does like her too and she has no consent here 😭

Basically cannot stand imlie character graph for some time now but hate this idea that a woman has to be forced to see better or she can’t, and she’ll have to even if she doesn’t want it. 101 ways and they chose to mess with a lot of perceptions I had about aryan, characteristics I liked and make him someone else for this force marriage :-/ but major turn off is how badly imlie is stuck in one cycle one point in her characterisation, to the point I am unable to watch and its actually messing with the dynamics for me. it not only makes her suffocating but also arylie scenes uncomfortable to me with how much in discomfort she seems while he’s all happy about it and blushing and all.

I agree with everything you said. Imlies tripathi and aditya jaap is beyond annoying now. She is obsessed with them and if she wants to ruin her life its on her.

The imlie-aryan dynamics was super weird today.I'm assuming that they want to show extreme hate and then show her slowly falling in love. But today Its like she couldn't bear him for a second which makes the forced marriage even worse.

Aryan is usually so smart and self aware that this kind of obliviousness from him is just disconcerting. She doesn't want to be saved. Its like the exact aditya - imlie situation where imlie kept trying to "help" tripathis and aditya kept telling her to buzz off.

Like once aryan had told imlie- jo aadmi khud ki maddad nahin kar sakta tum uske liye kuch nahin kar paaogi. Its the same. Leave her alone.

See the thing is I don’t think this will stop imlie being a self sacrificing machine will it? Instead she’ll say yes for someone else at the end if not the tripathis. That she’ll always remain.

I have zero problems with morally ambiguous characters and stories. Instead, I look for stuff like that and I really enjoy them. And when it comes to romances, even if there is conflict or denial both parties are involved. But here.. it’s just one party carrying the whole show, thus saara ghalat sahi, good and bad all falls on him because the other one is stuck and has no contribution to the progression of story. See, he’s trying to protect her doesn’t want her to turn to that weeping imlie, but from what? My major problem is they’re not really showing tripathis as someone she needs protecting from, they’re suddenly whatever they are today and she has never wanted to be protected from them. Their approval makes her genuinely happy and that weeping version comes out when she feels she’s being separated from them. It’s like yeah he has a version of what is right for imlie, but that’s not her perception or choice of a good future lol. Her idea (actually shown once too, she was dreaming of it when she was with AKT) is making rotis for the family while she serves and they’re all smiles and praise her

I think what would have saved this for me and made it much better is if they cared even a little about imlie’s side of the story and how she needs to progress too and actually showed her uncomfortable with the tripathis even a little, but bound by her cultural upbringing, thinking this is her duty. But she’s not tired or exhausted or uncomfortable she loves it! And she genuinely is sad she’s being taken away from ‘her family’. And the family’s abuse is no longer being addressed, instead they’re good people wanting best for her. So who is she being protected from? AKT? He too is being presented a bechara who imlie may still be pining after..

This frozen in time imlie, giving no thoughts to how her ex sasural abused her, overlooking how her ex sl*t shamed her. Having seen 100 comparisons of better and worse and still not caring, pining for ex’s fam means she actually just.. likes the tripathis and genuinely wants to be with them. No conflict, nothing. So what is aryan even protecting her from? He’s just trying to mould her into someone she’s not because he’s made this false heightened version of her in his head and put her on some pedestal he is having trouble seeing she’s not suitable for and in the process, losing himself.

And it messes with the couple dynamics for me a lot that only sindoor is what can make imlie like or think about aryan and not the 101 things he did for her. And that he has to force her to see him.

not that I don’t enjoy stories like typical gul’s I have liked most her pairs, it’s just arylie were introduced and built up different I had really looked forward to a second chance story but seems like she didn’t want to let go of the better ml narrative and also wanted her force marriage fantasy included so it’s a mixed up mess right now.. again, imlie’s side is what makes it uncomfortable now. there is no progress like they don’t care she’s also a part of this pair.. and the story would need to include her progression too..

I am just upset for all the better ways they didn’t take, even better in this force marriage thing.. and kept imlie bound to akt and ts till the end..

m confuse y imlie's took 1000 step backward after coming so far just cause of few words from all sides n wants to destroy herself

this wedding needed tbh then 50-50 relationships but not with the cost of aryan's self-sacrificing

i think we could get this form of a yes from imlie and then it will still take her a couple more months to fall in love with aryan, and then during that time we can have external villains like at imlie's school (she still doesn't have a college degree lmao) or at imlie's new job (idk maybe she joins bhaskar times again or another place) or aryan get's a new enemy/new entry that hates aryan for some reason lmao

i really hope they're trying to set up for a complete tripathi family exit from the show - i think the show can run with just rathore family, BM and BD as villains, and Meethi/SK -- they can just bring in new characters from somewhere else
