So many emotions today

So many chappals I threw at Imlie today!

Not in the mood for a long analysis tbh so ill just keep it short

1) Aru brings Panditoh ki toli 🤣- kuch ho na ho lekin My Man Aru goes above and beyond... phone video tut gaya no probs I will bring drones...ek nakli pandit ne kundali nahi milayee no probs i will bring pandits from all over the world 🤣

2) Imlie and her AKT jaap: phirse shuru 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️it may not be the same as last time but it's still there just this time instead of BS it's Aditya Sir.

I feel Aru's pain and it looks like he is getting annoyed with her by the minute. I mean I can't blame her cause she is being forced to get married but I also hate her for not understanding him.

AND AND AND.... Kay utra hua tha AKT ka Thobda when he found out 32/36 gun mil gaye of Imlie and Aryan & that they are SHIV -PARVATI JODI... dil ko sukoon mila. 😌😌😌😌

- Few things:

1) Imlie might marry Aru cause Tripathi's and Narmu+Arpu are happy.

OR

2) Aru will give in to all the emotions from family and Imlie & give up the video to Imlie.

He may re-iterate that he wasn't using her is skeptical but if he does then Imlie will have second thoughts.

+ as in the promo he will give her the choice to decide on whether to marry him

OR

3) Aru in anger & frustration will give her the video & tell her off that he never used her & that she is free to go.

GIVE me something other than forced shaadi 😭

I'm going to decrease Aru's meter- he looks like he is super frustrated with her. It may decrease more by the end of this wedding.😒🤷‍♀️No amount of jaaniya can fix this for the time being. K gud night

honestly a smarter show would have had aryan give imlie this choice, and i think i mentioned it before, offer her the chance to save the tripathis if she moves to some other big city to go to college; or she can stay in delhi and rot with aditya in jail.

then we'd see a four year leap in the show - imlie comes back to Delhi with a new job, a rented house for her, satyakaam, and meethi. - and then we see a real love story between aryan and imlie - where imlie is a journalist at a competing newspaper to bhaskar times.

but there are problems with this story because the reason imlie is being forced into this is not JUST because indians love drama and masala in their shows. but because it's supposed to reveal the unlimited "mahaanta" of imlie - because these shows are obsessed with the self-sacrificing woman trope. no matter what the show, they never add external drama in it to move the plot forward, they just come up with new ways to f*ck with the female lead//her friends/relatives - and the ways she gets out of these problems are almost always self-sacrificing, or reveals how "she's not like other girls". *gag*

basically ITV shows are always like this, and it's a big problem. however, the only reason i like this marriage track and aryan's mindset is that even though he is going about it incorrectly, he is trying to show imlie and the audience that being a self-sacrificing machine is not worth it.
