There will be some snobbishness about Vivek Agnihotri making this movie and from what I hear his track record as a filmmaker is poor, haven’t seen any although Tashkent Files is in my list..don't when I'll get time to watch.🤔 But this movie is gripping. He stayed honest to the material, and since that’s so compelling, so is the movie.❤️We can keep fussing on technicalities, but ultimately what any art is supposed to do is to evoke an emotion by being authentic.😃 And, sometimes, to convey a deep truth. This movie does that and in doing that has more integrity than many other works. The purpose of art other than to entertain, is to edify with deep truths.❤️❤️Intellectual honesty is key for that, and is an unfortunately rare quality, and Vivek Agnihotri and “The Kashmir Files” team deserve appreciation for taking up this topic and approaching it with sincerity.👏 This movie surprises you with its ability to move you, anger you and make you think - that’s an achievement.🙇

Since the release of The Kashmir Files was in news, there was a debate going on the “brainwashed” thing that has been mentioned in the film. I don’t know about other Unis but as a DU student I have first hand experience of being “brainwashed” by certain professors.Thankfully! I escaped the brainwashed by keeping my mind shut.We had profs telling us in the name of ‘bashing patriarchy’ how this group of women used to climb on buses and pinch the a**es of strange men to give them a piece of ‘molestation’ what men usually do to women in patriarchy.Unke words hai yeh.😆.The she says “Torture requires creativity”. That’s how they sow the seed of victimhood mentality.This is the kind of intellectual trauma and self depreciation 17-18 year olds go through continuously for at least 3 years. They not only start hating the country but also themselves.😭💔

We're not taught the atrocities that we had faced.We don't know anything about our culture,our past,our Great Rulers..what we're taught that India had always been a defeated nation.😡 And that's why the need of the hour is to REWRITE HISTORY😡.

If we don’t know where we’ve come from, we’ll never appreciate where we’re going.

You would cry, sob, feel scared watching the tragedy of lakhs of men and women who were made refugees overnight.I think this movie..this Vivek Agnihotri directorial will make you crave for justice.🥺The front at which the film stands out is the research that has gone into making of the film. Ye hume yaad dilati hai...ki ye sirf migration nai tha...BRUTAL GENOCIDE tha.😡😭

My question is...Where were the good Ms at that point of time...????🤔🙂

About the brainwashing in DU...seriously? I wasn't aware. I knew the opinions inculcated were 'liberal' and 'secular', (I've started resenting these words!) but didn't know how deep it went. I never understand the problem these people have with heir own country...why don't they want to learn /teach the correct history of the country 🙄

Wife: Thank you dear, for taking time from your busy schedule. 🤗Places her hands on his and continues... I can’t begin to tell you how much I have been looking forward to this date night, spend sometime alone with you.😳❤️

Manasi (in her house) settles down on the sofa with a bowl of hot pasta and turns on the TV to watch the episode of Anupama she had missed.😊

Amit’s phone beeps, it is a message from Manasi “I hope you enjoy the evening with your beautiful wife. Dinner is on me, a small token of gratitude for being a great boss!”😊

Amit:😳🥱🤡

Following day –

As Manasi enters, she is told by the peon that boss has asked to see her immediately in his cabin.

Worried, she walks to cabin, greets him and notices that he is already agitated.😲

A: Please have a seat.😳

M: Nervously, sits at the edge of the chair.😔

A: I see that you are stressed, is something bothering you? You know this reflects on your work.😈

M: No, there is nothing bothering me. About yesterday….😒

A: Yes!! about yesterday….! and swishes in a letter towards her that looks like a notice.😈

M: She sits there, not knowing how to react😒

A: Go on read it….🤓

M: Reads…. Subject: Promotion letter. She is excited and continues to read the letter. She has been promoted as Regional Branch Manager with a transfer to another local branch within Mumbai, which happens to be closer to her home.🥳

Happily, smiles and thanks her boss profusely. "thanks for doing this ...."😊

A: No, not at all. I was going to announce this yesterday, but now seems like a perfect time. 😊This is the least I can do to you, for subtly showing to me do the right thing.

It had been a long time since I had taken time out for my wife & family. You did what I couldn’t do in many years.Thank you.😊

M: Gets up to leave and walks away. She is about to open the door…

A: Manasi!

M: Yes?

A: You have a beautiful smile; you should smile often!😃

M: Thank you! 😊 Oh!! before I forget…. Please give my regards to “bhabhiji”😳

Walks out and closes the door behind her…

iss gadhe ko dekhke …aisa muh banaongi ke…. ..”😕 and walks into the breakroom ,overhears Nezu & Sapna talking.🤔

They are discussing about Anupama show, Sapna is batting her eyes and talking about AK…😳😳seconds later, Manasi realizes that she already has a goofy smile on her face and feels the heat rise on her cheeks. 😳😳😳

She joins them smiling ear to ear, forgetting all that had happened…😃😃😃
