I think it's fair to think that the wedding will happen, but only because right before the phere/sindoor/mangalsutra part of it all, Aryan will tell Imlie, "Fine, we can stop this wedding right here but I'll have to find another way to make Aditya suffer. One that doesn't include hurting his family. Manzoor?"

Imlie will agree for a second, because she genuinely thinks there might be a way to convince Aryan out of taking revenge on Aditya eventually, but then she looks at Narmada and Arpita's expectant faces, and decides she can't ruin their lives by stopping the wedding this late. Even if it means sacrificing herself, she knows that it will be easier to protect the Tripathis (even AKT) from Aryan if she's his wife.

That would be the nuanced way to prevent this from being a real forced wedding. Both Aryan and Imlie have clear profit from the wedding. I think Imlie might come to the realization that even though marriage is such a "badi baat" for her, her Sita Maiya won't expect her to be a "good wife" to a "Raavan" like Aryan. So she'll reconcile with the fact that she has to be with a Raavan to save her family.
